Gerta was so friendly and welcoming. Limited English but no problems as she got her message across. We had booked a triple room and she gave us another single room as it was free that night. Simply wonderful. Breakfast was amazing as well. Probably one of the best breakfasts I have had on my trip (traveling for 6 months). Would definitely stay again if I return to Cesky Krumlov. Short walk into town. Highly recommend

Everything, from the outside it does not look that special, but appearances can be deceiving. Inside it is wonderful, really well planned with great touches. Lovely whirlpool bath and great fittings in the loo. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and the location is great for the city, as long as you don't mind a few steps (80) to the town. There is a slightly longer route without steps if required. However the city is wonderful and worth the short walk.

We have been travelling for 18 months and this is the first time I have ever given a perfect rating.
Vera is amazing and so accommodating. The accommodation is huge and comfortable with amazing views over to the town and castle. Definitely glad we stayed here than in town.
We were sad to leave as Vera had made us feel like we lived there with her.

Our host Jana is amazing. She is so eager to please her guests and she has such a happy and bubbly personality. The location is perfect----right in the heart of Cesky Krumlov. Only a 5 minute walk to the plaza and the castle is right there. The food Jana prepared for breakfast is very authentic Czech and delicious. The room is uniquely decorated and meticulously clean.
