The size of the room was great, we took one look at the room having just booked for one day as we wanted to check it out first. But we immidiately asked to extend our booking for all 9 days, and they said they would try. - and next morning it was all done. Super value for the money. I thought the hotel was excellent value for money, the rooms were very clean and the breakfast was good. It was also easy to get into the city centre. We went on to travel around europe for 4 weeks and this was the best accommadation of the trip!.

We had requested from the previous day a cab for our ride back to the airport at 5am in the morning and they had forgotten to make the booking. The night receptionist (based at Ostas Hotel) was extremely rude and unhelpful. The area was dodgy. Room photos didn't reflect the reality.The staff is totally unprofessional and also unpolite especially the lady from the reception who by the way refused to tell us her name. Totally unpolite and without any customer orientation!.

The building from the 1930s was fully reconstructed in 2005. To ensure the privacy and safety of our guests, both the rooms and the front door are secured with a modern key card access system, and the public areas are observed by video cameras. All rooms are non-smoking, but there is a cosy smoking area in our backyard.
Please notice, this hotel has a new name - Winston Churchill hotel. You may still find this hotel under the old name - Hotel Barfo.
