The room was large and there were plenty of satellite channels on TV. At the reception staff spoke fluent English and German. A free WLAN in rooms and free Internet PCs at the lobby & the Internet connection was fast. The hotel was recently renovated and clean. The elevator was large enough to fit both luggage and stroller. We liked the location of the hotel, it was close enough to the city center but still a quiet street.
all reviews » We stayed in the hotel for a night. It was excellent. The location is near to Prag main station and 15 minutes walk to the Charles Bridge. The room is so well arranged... the lighting system and bathroom with glass is so romantic. Perfect for a romantic night. The best part is Kitchen is included in the room along with some cooking and serving utensils. The final word is Best value for money. An ideal hotel for a short stay. Staff friendly and helpful, good room size, breakfast simple but adequate.Wonderful location, in a less touristy area of the city but close enough to all the sights/public transport. Nice cafes/pubs round the hotel, much cheaper and better quality than the ones I came across in the Old Town. Would definitely stay there again. Very good location, next to Karlovo Namesti and 5 minutes walk to Vaclavske Namesti! It is a Hotel with a romantic mood in its decoration so I would recommend it mostly for couples. But it is also very cosy and friendly for anyone. Good breakfast but the coffee was very bad (as always in CZ). Try the filter coffee instead, it is good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good choice for breakfast and including in price. Great location to walk into the centre and to the main train station. The hotel was on a quiet road so there wasnt any noise from outside. If you are a light sleeper the location can be even perfect because it is on a quiet street. It isn't very close to the downtown but you can walk to the Prague Museum and to a tram station that let's you at the central station or downtown, to see the cities attractions. Location is near where the tourist spot and in the room have cooker that I can cook the food by myself. Breakfast are very nice. Prisvärt 5 av 5. We first choose PurPur Aparthotel just consider its reasonable rates and location. Actually, we have stayed two nights there and is more than we expected! Firstly, our room (just with a acceptable size), is clean and newly furnished. Although the balcony and pantry is small, but it do gave us a home-like feeling. Buffet breakfast is included in the rate, but its quality and quantity is much better than those we have in our journey. Furthermore, reception staff is cheerful and helpful. Overall,. - location - room design was good but not extra clean (spider in a corner of the ceiling, walls not very clean,...) - price (went one night in the middle of the week, and got a great price/quality ratio overall). Close to Metro station that will take you in minutes to all major attractions. Breakfast was a bit poor (not a big variety) but it's probably good enough to get you going with your day. The hotel is nice,clean and cheap. Do not expect much though the breakfast buffet is very basic and if you are staying More than 3 days you will be fed up with it. View from the room isn't anything special but you can always walk just couple of blocks to get a better view... No air condition in the room. The 2 days I was there it was fairly warm but just bearable in the room. Could be a problem with a major heat wave!. It is true that the courtains were small and did not cover the window. Also I didn't like the shampoo little envelopes. There was no shower gel, only soap. Better bring your own travel set. Also the view from the window was at the back between the buildings. Also you are showering on the floor and most of the water goes to the rest of the bathroom. Maybe if I had to choose it would be that they didnt offer food in the evening. However lots of restaurants, pasta, pizza (even a macdonalds) a few minutes walk away so not a problem. Shower did not drain well, so flooding the floor was a minor issue. Breakfast was pretty ordinary, almost bad. Terrible coffee and very little choice. Still for the price it is really hard to complain. Just two things: 1) the pillows are not at all comfortable, it seems that you have nothing under your head. It can be a personal preference but if you are used to sleep with something more solid underneath your head then you most probably will have a problem! I would suggest to fold the pillow in couple of layers then use it, 2) breakfast is primitive, could have been better. Apart from these, the hotel is a nice place to stay considering the room prices. Breakfast could be better. If you are traveling by car - write additionally to the hotel that you need a parking place in garage ( that is very small) . Otherwise you will need to park in public parking that is in my opinion not so safe, accept only cash in krons and two times more expensive. I guess that the lights in our room could be a little stronger. The next door room very noisy . The pillow in the room are not comfortable. The coffee machine for breakfast I press for machiato I got hot choccolate out instead. Reception should have more knowledge to answer to the guest and Wi fi is keep change the the router so I have to change the name of wi fi all the time. The bathroom floor floods from the shower. The internet is hopeless in the room! Did not connect at all and you can't use it on the 4th floor unless you stand outside the room where you get one bar of reception.It works fine in the main lobby. in first night was very cold in my room. I was very cautious and nervous about the hotel with all of the graffiti on the street. But never saw any creepers and felt safe the entire time. -100 euro deposit for the bar (in the bar there were only chips, and some beer) not worth those money of goods -our room trash wasn't cleaned, baskets full of empty bottles -breakfast was very moderate, nothing special, and the tables very dirty. I did really not like the shower, it was horrible, the apartment is not very iluminated very poor lights, so it makes difficult if you like to ready. There is no english channel on Tv. Breakfast was basic and coffee was not nice. no notice about the obligatory refundable deposit of 100€ (minibar, keys, damage), floor in the bathroom as we were flooded after every shower, very soft pillows. not a lot of lighting-rooms a bit dim hot water ran out extremely quickly wasn't a routine schedule when there was hot water. Wi-fi signal was very bad on the third floor ( the first stopping), and it was a little better on the second ( my next stoping at the purpur). Breakfast could havr beeb more elaborate. nothing. only one thing...the shower! water was not coming out as normal one instead it was dripping. please repair it!!. The staff is not very well understood classical English. The good news is that one of the shift worker was speaking Russian . If you count on the Internet , keep in mind: 1. Internet does not work in all rooms. 2 . Internet access is not available for devices with web authorization does not work. Some of the staff were unpleasant to talk to. Curtains didn't quite cover the nice large windows, and with sun coming up at 4:30 a.m. I woke up much earlier than I would like. n/a. worst pillow on which I ever slept !!!,monotonous breakfast, obligatory pledge for minibar. relatively expensive garage, considering the price of a room bed linen, it was not white nor 100% cotton, which means it can't be washed at 95 C. a big price. A little poor breakfast. Breakfast was pretty ordinary. Could have been better. the breakfast. One thing to be improved is the shower, the water pressure is a bit low. - not extra clean - staff said they d clean the spider and unplug the sink but didnt. The rooms are not sound isolated and you could actually hear everything happening outside the room. When we checked out the hotel accused us of not paying for the room although they collect the money immediately after checking in it turned out that the guy who was working at the reception the day we checked in was a trainee and he probably stole the money so don't forget to collect the receipt once you pay because we trusted the guy at the reception. It does not give you this fill that your at a hotel. Even not at home. Small hotel. Poor Wi-Fi in the room. When we arrived, our bed was not clean and we asked the staff to change somethings. And also the bath was not clean. The breakfast was lack of nice suits and fresh fruits. We could not eat meat, so we had limit choices.
