The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful with directions etc. I would recommend the Cafe Imperial, lovely food and very reasonably priced. Myself and my partner had 2 main courses, 6 drinks, 1 desert and it only amounted to €50 when we converted the currency. Rooms were elegantly decorated and of the upmost standard of cleanliness. We encountered no bad issues/points with this hotel. I've travelled a great deal and have spent many a night in hotels across the globe. The Imperial Art Deco hotel was fabulous. We loved all of it and rate it as probably the best hotel we've ever stayed in. It was not only because of the style Art Deco design, but because of the quality of the detail throughout the building.
all reviews » Helpful friendly staff and extremely comfortable and attractive accomodation. Excellent hotel, very comfortable room, room had both a bathroom with toilet and a separate toilet. Room was very quiet. Free internet access in the lobby (two terminals) was also very helpful. Good breakfast. The attached cafe can also be highly recommended for fairly inexpensive but excellent meals. Would definitely recommend the hotel though it is not cheap.great location to get down town, nice room, clean. Excelent location, stuff. Three of our party slipped andbruised themselves. No other areas of concern though.room was considerably smaller than that advertised. Sona was open only from 19 pm (too late for this period). There didn't appear to be any routine schedule with regard to housekeeping. Sometimes it would be before noon and one day the room hadn't been cleaned by 2 or 3 in the afternoon and we refused service because we would have had to leave the room. beer at the bar was 3x the price in any bar on the street. Mini bar prices were far too high. No coffee for the coffee maker, even after three reminders, poor staff performance overall.
