The hotel is located at the outskirts of ancient historic Prague. Seven minutes slow walk to main square of the city. Easy reach to all the great sights of that magnificent central European culture loaded comity. About five minutes walk to Karl Bridge and to the fire-arm tower. Hotel staff is friendly, speaking English and eager to help. Bk which is included in price is typical and satisfying. Nearby are shops supermareket and taxi and tram stations. Highly recommended.
all reviews » The staff were friendly and helpful in getting us to where we wanted to go. It has a very good fee for taxi to and from airport and train station. We took a taxi from the train station and it cost us 620 Euros. The hotel charges only 280 Euros. It is within walking distance to the metro and the old town square. It has air -conditioning in the rooms which is most welcome on hot summer days and nights. Very close to Old Town the street was quiet close to restaurants and the tourist views. The best part of my stay was the very helpful and friendly staff. I can't not say enough about them all the man that worked the night shift I can't think of his name but what a great Inn keeper he even taught me some Czech and held back laughing at me. GREAT Staff! Very friendly and knowledgable. After I booked the hotel, I received an email from the hotel offering transportation from the airport (very worth the expense). Breakfast was included and very good. Our room was huge. Wi-Fi was great and free in our room. Very central location, we walked to everything. Great hotel, walking distance to all tourist spots. Very helpful staff on front desk arranging tours, excursions and recommending traditional restaurants. Breakfast buffet is plentiful with cereals, fruits, breads, spreads, meats, cheeses and eggs. Will definitely return if back in Prague. The location was brilliant, very short walk to either Old Town Square, Charles Bridge or Wenceslas Square. A little over price, but that is a general problem in Prague, the place is a tourist trap, you have to pay in every place you go(historical sites or churches etc) or minor services. Every year is worst. Not particularly rich breakfast, but certainly eatable & sufficient, clean, polite service in catering too. The only minor drawback is cleaning system. It appears like they've got just one cleaning lady for all the floors. So it can basically take till the evening, if you are on the last floor. Don't take their taxi offer. It would be much cheaper if you grab a taxi literally at the corner of the same street. There was really nothing I did not like. The hotel is partially air conditioned but my room was not but it was very comfortable even though it was hot and humid outside my entire trip. We had to ask for the remote control of the air-conditioning but it was no big deal. The air-conditioning worked perfectly. We were there in Summer but the room was not equipped with the AC and there were not even an available fan. Our room was located on street side and it could be very noisy outside during weekends. Nothing. The mattress was really rather hard but that would not stop me from returning here.... a really nice hotel. The staff could have been warmer. N/A. Nothing. Our room didn't have wifi for the first few days but access was not a problem from other floors. Room 407 has recently been remodeled and has a wonderful skyline view. Only negative could be noise from school yard outside but nothing to seriously worry about!. The room had a bad smell when we arrive, but this was quickly resolved. Maybe the cleanliness of towels should be more.. Towels were too old, the temperature of the shower was not very stable. Very difficult to find nearby parking (had to park in a relatively expensive P-garage, appr.15 min. walk from the hotel). Very tiny elevator (for max. 2 persons without luggage !). not a complaint, but if you chose premiumtime, the hot water in the shower disappeared! Again, if you chose popular time, breakfast room was congested!. The towels were not very white. The room had no AC and was facing the main road. One had to open the windows for air, but this made the room too noisy. The water was sometimes temperamental in temperature. There is a new bar, dance club (strip joint) a few doors down that starts up at 9:00 pm and runs until 4:00 am. Extremely noisy with loud singing and drunken bands of young men. It has nothing to do with the hotel, however if your room faces the street and you sleep with the windows open...it's too much!. none. Very small restaurant room. the tea sachets were not replaced the next day after we we used them. there was no english tea in the room. there was no spare duvet/blanket in the room, it was cold at night. I hated not having air conditioning when Prague was 39 degrees hot. That was the worse. That the elevator doesn't reach the room level and you always have to take the stairs half a story down or up. It's also very small. Some of the staff members don't seem very alert at night and one fears that them may forget whatever conversation you have with them. Nothing. I was fully satisfied - all met my expectations. Nothing. smell of cigarette smoke in some places. The rooms are a bit dark.
