This Hotel was great!!! It would take a long time to walk to old town, but public transportation made it easy. I wouls say that it took 15-20 minutes to reach old town by PT. The hotel staff were very nice in helping me figure out my train ticket situation and also giving advice for sightseeing. Thanks, Hotel Vitkov!. I loved this hotel I will stay again. 40min walk down hill to town or tram no.9. I loved this hotel. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were spotless, lovely decor, staff were very helpful. On a busy road but rooms seemed to be sound proofed.

When we arrived first we were allocated a room that was not cleaned, butthis was not a big issue as we were given another room straight away andthe receptionist was very apologetic about it.no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but no big deal. The blanket on the bed was to small especially for someone as big as me.Have a better parking lot. just the breakfast could improve a little. the towel is not changed on the second day. So this has not affected our rating ofthe hotel.Air con not very effective. for some reason, our shower drain smelled faintly of sewer and it drifted into our room if we left the bathroom door open. but this wasn't the case with our family's room.Breakfast needs improvement and it was a little too quiet around the hotel. The air conditioning was broken in our room and because of the terrible noise we couldn't sleep at all during the first night. However, after threatening to leave on the second night, we were finally moved to a single room, and nobody said anything about a refund.A little bit noisy because of the traffic. far out from city center. not quiet. We booked for double bed but we were given two single beds.There were two things that bothered me, first there was the ventilation in the hotel - our room was obviously under the smoking floor and sometimes there would be terrible smell of cigarettes. The second thing were the towels - we didn't get fresh towels for a day and one day only one set of them had been changed. First, reading the description I got the impression it offerred free shuttle to airport. It does not - all they do is call the taxi for you. Second, the front hotel rooms face a VERY busy intersection with trams coming from 3 directions and running all night. Don't even think of sleeping with open windows unless you are somehow prone to noise. Closing the windows helps, but stops the fresh air.May be window screens would give more convenience - for non-fighting against mosquitos. the blanket is not really clean, I was itching all the night.....also the sink in the toilet stinks a bit. We were with a large group of students who did some slight damage to their room and were charged a disproportionate rate for the damage. The rooms at the front are noisy if you like the window open. The location. It was a bit far from the center, but tram station was 2 min away and it was easy to use.
