Spent 3 nights in Hostel Lipa. I arrived late in the evening but Michael was happy to sit with me and explain the city, give me maps, information, and provide me with everything I could need for a very enjoyable stay. The price of the hostel was very reasonable and Michael also provided me with a travel card for much less then I could get elsewhere. The hostel is in Prague 3 with a direct bus line to Florenc bus station and the centre of Prague. On one of the nights, after a few too many beers,.
all reviews » It's a great place for the money, very clean. There is a shared kitchen with everything you need, and free coffee. Locations is very good as well. Staff is very kind, they take the time to sit with you and give you a nice explanation about the city, maps, things to do, transport points, etc. In the hostel u can pay by credit card. and near the hostel u can find: 1 - big park 2 - one of bus stop, train and bus stations are within walking distance (5-10 minutes) and near hostel. 3 - two beer bars 4 - vegetarian restaurant (10 minutes) 5 - many cheap shops, supermarket (BIlla), ATM. The host were really good, helped us with loads of information about the city and kept the room absolutely ready on our arrival. Very nice and friendly person and the place is very near to the station, so connectivity is great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bus transport is right outside and 2 stops away from Florenc bus station and subway stop. Good pub with food downstairs. Basic bed and shower, good value for money. -very friendly and helpful staff -parking on request -spacious room -nice, clean and comfortable bathroom -good connection to the city centre (available by walk, bus or tram). a very helpful host will introduce everything you need during staying time. close to bus stop & supermarket. clean & roomy room. rich facilities. Nice people around. Clean apartments. 10 minutes from center of Prague. It's a very friendly hostel and does not looks like a hostel. I felt like I was at a friend's apartament. Very good place! Near from center and perfect bar on the 1st floor with traditional meals & beer. The room was really big and the bus around were convenient. The stuff helped planning the holiday really well. Great support and friendly host~. Only small negative was that the room was quite loud at night from the street right outside. However, once you have tired yourself out walking around Prague or drunk enough Czech beer, it isn't a problem!. The staff is not there 24hrs, so if for soon reason you arrive late at night for the check in, have at hand a phone to call them and wait for a while for the keys. Although is not a big problem, they will find a way to give you the keys. I remember nothing;) But if u need lux u willn't like this hostel. The entrance was a bit disappointing, no light in the stairs while we returned to our room but this is just a small issue with a great place. -due to my sensitivity at the beginning my room seemed to be loud (window to the main street), but there are also rooms located to the side-street. It's situated at the beginning of the one of The Main Streets of non central Prague and its too noisy there.
