The hotel is located close to the city centre (to Wencelas Square it's a five minute walk). The rooms are clean, modern and friendly equipped. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet should satisfy everyone (from scrambled eggs to bread, cake and cereals. Coffee, tea, milk and orange juice). Also the restaurant linked to the hotel is worth a visit. We would definitely stay here again.
all reviews » This hotel is a favorite of mine in Prague. Has a very luxurious feel to it. All the rooms are different, so you get something new each time you stay. Staff are friendly and speak English. They have a new parking location for guests which is much closer than when I stayed here in 2011. The breakfast room is very cute and cozy as well. This hotel is great! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Service is very personal. We received a free upgrade to a suite, which was really beautiful. It was a pleasant surprise! Location is very central. The hotel is a beautiful old building, very authentic. Baby bed was arranged on arrival in literally 2 minutes. The receptionist was very helpful, always smiling, great service. The room was huge and the location is perfect. Very close to the metro station and walking distance to old town. I did everything by foot. Breakfast was amazing and the building itself was very beautiful. The room itself was lovely and spacious and the bed really comfortable, good quality. The hotel was very well maintained and clean and reception/cleaning staff very good and pleasant. Reception staff helpful when asked. The apartment I got was very big and comfy, I also liked the architecture of the hotel, decorations and care put into the building itself. Staff was helpful. Free WiFi worked reasonably well. Everything was perfect!!!. staff, location, design. interior, staff. grandeur. 1) it was given the kind possibility of a for free 1 hour late check-out (10.30, as scheduled, it's early and almost any hotel plans it). The location of the Hotel was great, close to the Old Town approx. 5 min by foot! The pub in the corner was also fine!. I liked the location, the design, big rooms with a balcony and a kitchen. Nice room, good bed, good location. We stayed in the largest suite this time around and discovered the bathroom was half the size of the one in the junior suite. Strange, but not a deal breaker! =). Internet doesn't reach the 5th floor, otherwise it works perfect downstairs. The only thing you could consider a problem is that the room didn't have air conditioner. But it wasn't that warm inside anyway. I slept perfectly. Had to wait for an iron for 24 hours, 3 days for DVD player (listed as available on request). Refreshments in room not refilled automatically, had to ask for milk everyday. Towels not changed automatically, had to ask for new ones. Breakfast was poor, cold and old cooked food - hard scrambled/poached eggs, poor quality mini sausages. They clearly put it out at the start of service and just leave it there. Breakfast room staff surly. No shower in room was a nuisance but manageable. - The breakfast is poor both with food selection and its quality. - The rooms are rather noisy, old windows do not block sounds from a busy street - There is no A/C, although surprisingly it wasn't that bad inside compared to the heatwave outside. Music in breakfast room (too loud). There were no toothbrushes in my room. No air conditioning in the room. If you want watch tv, probably you´ll be dissapointed. There are only Arabian and German channels. the entrance is not easily accessible. Breakfast could be more furnished of Czech food. There is no lobby in the hotel and no place to sit. leak in the bathroom. no air conditioning. Breakfast selection, noise from down stairs night club. 1) we booked 2 suites, we got one suite and one double room...but we had not mood and time to complain about. The Royal suite is huge with 3 queen beds!! but it is scheduled that the 3rd guest pay the extra bed...it's not normal, we were 5 and could be comfortably placed there 2) no slippers and bathrobe, as expected 3) smoking corners inside...not a smoking free hotel. It's not a **** star hotel!. It could have been cleaner. Breakfust, breakfust room on the 5th floor was very warm, channel machine for tv didn't work and after 3 days it still didn't work!. Difficult unloading parking.
