The staff was simply amazing!! They were really flexible even when we had to change our plans a couple of times. Everything from transportation from the airport to checking in and staying at the apartment went perfectly. We warmly recommend Charles Bridge apartments to everyone, especially families and groups of friends, who want to stay in an apartment together, instead of separate hotel rooms. The location of the apartment was also excellent, only a short walk from the Charles Bridge itself.
all reviews » There are many things to like about Charles Bridge Apartments. First of all, location. Very, very close to Charles Bridge, brief walk to Old Town Square and not much further to City Centre. Second, staying in an apartment vs. hotel is so much better in terms of space, having a fully equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay there ! (parents with 11 and 14.5 yr old boys). Friendly staff, perfect location (just few meters to Charles Bridge), big and completely equipped room (microwave oven, dishes, etc.). Only one difficult we met: heating system has been switched-off at 6 am automatically (with timer) and first night was very cold; control panel-was found next morning only. I'd like to recommend to give for guests some instruction how to use it. 6 friends and I were in Prague during the flooding in June 2013. The staff were incredibly helpful when trying to get in contact with the possibility of moving hotels when the dams were being opened, and when lost even offered to come pick us up and help us. Great apartment, great value for money, and so close to the centre. Would definitely stay there again. Awesome studio apartment! All renovated and newly furnished, big bathtub, equipped kitchen, huge bed. All these for half the price of a next door 4 stars hotel and much better, plus great location just down the stairs going to Prague Castle, and 4 minutes walk to Charles Bridge. The stuff is kind and very helpful. Highly recommended!. Location and convenience for the things we wanted to do, like going to the Charles Bridge and having easy access to the subway system. The studio apartment we rented was spacious and comfortable, allowing us to relax in the evening. Bathroom was comfortable, with a large shower stall, hand soap, and plenty of toilet paper. Location is excellent. Every part of Praha 1 is walkable from the apartment not to mention the easy location of public transport such as the Trams & Subway. We got upgraded from a studio to a 3 room apartment which was huge that could fit 8 people. Won't hesitate to come back here again if I'm in Prague again. They have several apartments in the area, ours was on the last floor and right beside the Charles bridge. The sight from the apartment is absolutely amazing. I was able to take very nice pictures at night from there. The staff was cute and the room was comfortable and perfectly clean. The receptonist did her best to resolve the issue smoothly and were very helpful. plus the hotel we were transferred to for the night was excellent. Very good location and the apartment was great. We were a group of 6 and had 1 apartment which made our holiday even more fun. fully equipped comfortable apartments which were close to old town sights. Staff at reception office were very pleasant and helpful. Old City located apartments were probably better suited for quiet couple rather than a family as voices are louder due to inner courtyard. The location of this apartment was great. Short walk from the subway and so close to Charles Bridge. The views (admittedly through small windows) were amazing! There were a couple of small glitches "along the way" but the staff was very, very responsive in making everything perfect and to our full satisfaction. An important control button was missing from the oven, so we were not able to use it. We had access to about 300 TV channels, but only two were in English and there was no viewer guide to help us look for things like English language programs or the local news. Toilet & shower doors can't really lock in our apartment. Well, due to the popularity of the location, it's really hard to find a parking place near the building, especially at night. The kitchen was a little bit too simplified. We were 4 peoples and had problem to take shower after 3 as the hot water has run out... When we got there we were told that there has been a problem and we couldnt stay there. They did transfer us to another hotel and transferred us back on the next day to the actual apartment but we wasted alot of time. We were accommodated in old city across the bridge from Charles Bridge Apartments in their other city apartments to be close to relatives in adjoining apartment. This was advised upon arrival but staff were helpful to transport us across in a taxi. Apartment was great but washing machine was broken and toilet seat kept falling off. Old city apartments are located amongst permanent residents so not so suited for children. No complaints, was all great. We had no hot water for a few days as their was a problem with the boiler, however once we told the staff at Charles Bridge apartments of our problem they quickly rectified it. It was not technically a two bedroom as one bed was a fold out couch in the living room but the spaciousness of the apartment made up for that deficiency. Pack light, check-in is 1/2 mile walk to the actual apartment. The only thing I was wondered. The room had fully equipped and even had iron, but could not find hair dryer. The apartment had only one bathroom and one toilet. They were missing keys so the toilet can't be locked. This is a place for people who would like to cook and save money on food - I don't really need a kitchen, but it was nice. But I am not a do-it-yourselfer when I travel! Still, it was a nice change!. A central, city location means convenience, but it can also mean a bit of noise. I stayed in Room 9, a lovely room but located next to an outdoor beer garden. Also, the wi-fi signal in my room was a bit weak. I knew this in advance, but still chose this room because of its spaciousness and extensive amenities. Not much it was a great stay!. Wish there was a hotplate for cooking. There was construction that began at 7 both days we were there, Saturday and Sunday. Wish the bed was a big bed rather than two beds pushed together. The receptionist forgot to arrange transfer from the appartement to the airport, even though she confirmed the transfer the day before. But it doesn't ruin the impression of the hotel, as there were taxis arranged for us within 3 minutes. The nearest parking garage is quite far away (about 3/4 mile). Parking. We drove to Prague and the closet parking lot was 10 minute walk away. Kitchen needs hand towels. we had a slight problem with water being cold one morning, this was quickly rectified. the only other thing was the stair lights kept going off before we had got up or down. No elevator access, but that is normal in Europe :-). Nothing. Everything was wonderful. - Wrong information about taxi-price from the staff, almost missed our plane. no clear trash location when we try to turf our garbage in bathroom 1 shower holder was broken will be great to install more mirrors. 1. No elevator. 2. Twin bed should not be placed in the kitchen. nothing. Being woken at 4.00am (and again before 6.00am) by other guests trying to get out! Bedding was a bit spartan- the duvet on the king sized bed was only a single. The TV only have local language and without English language; The cleaners came on the 4th days and done a quick cleaning only; The corridor lights was blacked out 4 times in 4 days and the room was blacked out once on the 3rd day.
