  I'm amazed when the hotel supposed to pick two people with different flights at the airport and my friend happened to have postphoned flight. But, instead of us telling them, they called us and told us about the delay and will arrange for delayed picked up as flight new schedule. Definitely great service from the hotel. My wife and I stayed in a suite which was one of the most luxurious and beautiful hotel rooms we have ever used (our next stop was the Fours Seasons hotel in Budapest where the room did not compar... what people say » e).   We loved everything about the Alchymist. We had original booked at their sister hotel but because we were travelling in a group of four there wasn't enough room so the upgrade us to this hotel. All I can say the staff were excellent, I emailed on how do we get there from the train and they sent a driver to pick us up and it was complimentary.   The charming hotel built in 1730 is extremely well located at the castle end of the famous Charles bridge just around the corner on a quiet side street. We had a huge 2 room suite with 2 fabulous king sized beds with luxurious linens, 9 foot ceilings with a frescoes ceiling in the living room and very old parquet floors throughout. Our tiny glassed in balc - The hotel is in a great location in Lesser Town, just over Charles Bridge. You can be at the Castle or the Old Town Square within 10-15 mins (walking). They also brought us a bottle of wine when they knew it was my husband's birthday which was a very lovely gesture.

  The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It is located on a quiet street at the west end of the Charles Bridge with a park on the other end opposite the bridge. As other people posted, the location within the city could not be better. It is a 30 sec walk to the bridge and the location felt very safe and secure. The hotel itself is nice and the rooms are very clea - Staff welcomed us at 1:20am after late flight and helped us settle in with warm drinks and extra blankets. We also had a super room for the 4 of us in eaves. Location was also great, just next to Charles Bridge, but still quiet.
