The Romania Hotel is situated in the center of town, nestled between the historic and modern district. It is easy to walk anywhere and near public transportation. It's an older property but spotlessly clean. We booked a "comfort double room " which faced the front street with a lovely balcony. Karlovy Vary is a quiet, spa town so there wasn't any noise outside.
The room was nicely furnished, with a comfortable queen size bed and high quality linens were provided. The high ceilings gave an illu. all reviews »
We stop for a second time! Once again, everyone likes, good location, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, nice rooms, good internet! In the rain you can rent to take an umbrella! The most delicious ice cream with hot raspberries - in a restaurant Velvet that the hotel (looking for all Karlovy Vary).

The hotel's location is wonderful, just very near to the main bridge, which is at the beginning of whole important sites, comparing with other hotels, it is also more close to the bus station, which is about 10 min walking, wifi is good, and very quiet.
The room had a nice balcony with a beautiful view of the city. It also had an elevator so we had to drag our luggage up only a few steps. The breakfast was satisfactory but nor extravagant - cold cuts, hard boiled eggs, cereal etc.

Very close to famous Spar House in Karlovy. Just in the middle of Karlovy Vary and walking distance to Spring. We had enjoyed drinking natural spring water with cute Mug-Cup while walking downtown.

The location is good to find. close to the bus station, and easy to find. The stuffs are so nice. The room is clean and nice. We have a balcony with the city view, i love it. Wifi is good.
Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the bath tub wonderful after of day of walking all over the area, and the breakfast was fine. The staff was friendly and helpful.

2. Location (absolutely gorgeous) - few minutes walking from the bus station. On the way there is local bazaar with fruits and vegetables. Supermarket, postoffice - one minutes walk. Shops and Lazne 5 to use for swimming pool, and so on. Everything is close. Beautiful park is near.

The room and bed is so small.
We were on the 4th floor and it seems the hot water does not have enough pressure to get all the way up especially if there are too many guests in the hotel. Also the hot water stopped in the middle of my taking a shower. Although the room was made they did not leave another packet with shampoo for the following morning. You may want to keep a small bottle with shampoo with you and definitely conditioner if you use it since they do not provide it.

The hotel's public spaces are a bit worn and it is at the very edge of the spa district, so we walked a lot.
Can't have the windows open and lights on at the same time because of the BUGS! This poses a problem in really hot weather.

2. Window of my room was looking the street, and the quite transparent curtains did not help to protect the room from outside lights in the night.
3. Stuff speaks Czech, poorly russian and no english (we did not try other languages;). So, you need an effort to explain your-self, if you need something special.
4. Breakfast had one kind of baked sweet and I never liked it. I would prefer at least a simple, classic croissant instead.
