The wonderful suite - the best in the hotel, with a church view was incredible. The bathroom had a large tub and separate shower. The hotel was booked so our attempt to book the next night upon our arrival was not to be. Though one night in Cesky Krumlov is probably enough. Got this hotel out of Frommers and the author says rooms are small. I saw two rooms, neither of which was small.... - Karen

The room was a generous size and comfortable. Our dinners at the hotel's restaurant were very good and we loved the terrace with a beautiful view over the old town to the castle. The waiter was very friendly and obliging, carrying food through the rain to serve our table on a sheltered spot on the terrace.Parking arrangements (in public car park on edge of old town) were better than expected. - Marietta

Information about the area

Construction of the town and castle began in the late 13th century at a ford in the Vltava River. Most of the architecture dates from the 14th to the 17th century, displaying Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. The core of the Old Town lies within a horseshoe bend of the river, with the old Latrán neighbourhood and the castle situated on the other side of the Vltava river.

The Castle of Český Krumlov ranks among the most important historic sights in the central European region. In 1992 the entire complex was included in the UNESCO list of World Cultural Heritage Monuments.

Wander through the Sumava National Park and visit the historical towns of southern Bohemia (e.g. Hluboka nad Vltavou, Rozumberk nad Vltavou,Ceske Budejovice), explore the surroundings by bike or mountain bike, or have a relaxed trip by canoe down the Vltava.

Welcome to our hotel! In the centre of Cesky Krumlov,we have prepared twelve rooms for you in a renovated building from the 16th century. You will be received by the pleasant atmosphere of old architecture, not only of the city itself, but also of the exteriors and interiors of the hotel.
All rooms have their own bathroom, telephone and satellite TV .
The hotel has also a Wi-fi hotspot.

Travelling information

Arriving in Česky Krumlov you drive in direction Větřní, Roženberk. At the first traffic light make a right turn. About 150 m after the stone bridge you’ll find our Hotel/Restaurant “Konvice” on the right side.
