I really enjoyed my stay at the pension. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Despite my arrival quite late on Sunday evening, their restaurant was still open, and I had fantastic dinner there. Room was tastefully decorated, I felt like at home, rather than at a soulless hotel. When in Brno, I will stay in the pension again. Recently renovated. Everything is new. Staff quite friendly. Restaurant is non-smoking, which is not common in Czech Republic.

The surrounding of the pension is a bit rough, but as I took a taxi from the Turany airport, it was not an issue. The neighborhood is decent, but definitely a gypsy section of town. You should be fine, but I don't recommend this place to females travelling alone. You should not walk in this part of the town alone in the night. The breakfast is fine, but it includes only 5 or 6 kinds of meals, and you have to choose. Nothing. Maybe location, if you are alone. It's looked like a poor part of town, BUT with the car you don't need to think about it. Neighborhood, thin walls. One staffmember couldn't say a word in English. The noise between the rooms and the noise from the doors. -Room walls are a bit thin, sometimes you can hear the neighbors. -Staff does not speak english.Although we could communicate in german. - towels not too clean - neighbourhood did not seem very safe. But! It's really far from the center. We waited for a tram for 15 minutes and than had 20 minutes of the way. That's totally not that near from the centre!. The staff had limited English knowledge. There were only local TV channels available.
