  Clean rooms, friendly staff, and economical. There was one person who made our stay especially nice. Her name was Klara. She was welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. Klara spoke English very well and provided answers and directions to all our questions about Prague, transportation, and currency. She even offered to make us something to eat when... what people say » we arrived late. To enter Pension Kern, you have to ring the doorbell and the receptionist comes to the door and lets you in. There is limited gated - Excellent staff, excellent place and excellant accomodation. Reception is very friendly, she lent me several local currency when I arrived at the hotel. The place is quite easy to access public traffic towards city centre. Nearby there are several countries' embassador's residence. The facilities in the room is very comfortable. Nice breakfast.

  The room was amazing (de-luxe room) - even nicer in real life than the photos! And huge - spanning the whole of the 1st floor! The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. Over all a fantastic hotel that added to a fantastic weekend!   The rooms were fabulous; spacious and well stocked. The spa baths were a welcome bonus after a day of walking! The location is perfect; lots of cafes, restaurants and shopping close by. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and our room faced the river and we had a wonderful view - definitely request a room on the river side. The view and location couldn't be better. The rooms are small since you're on a boat, but they were very comfortable were cleaned everyday. The shower and bathroom is larger than you'd expect and everything seems to have been recently updated. The breakfasts were good with a hot item every day.

The place consists of 3 appartments, is located in the heart of the city but at the same time is very quiet, accommodating an - Wow! What a surprise this place was! In a good way that is. I wasn't expecting an entire apartment but that is what we got! It was beautiful and comfortable. Great location east to get to and from and around the city! We loved our short time here. And breakfast was brought to us each morning. A super place to stay!

The location is fine, just 5 minutes walk from the tram station although we had walked quite far after being misled by the Information staff at the main train station for the first time.
