Very friendly and thoughtful staff. We were sent by email helpful maps and information about how to get there from the airport, coach and railway station, also how to get into the centre,and how to use the bus/tram network together with prices. We had an economy room for one night which was adequate for our purposes - clean and quiet, although I don't know how noisy rooms might be on the road side of the house. There was ample choice of things for breakfast, both hot and cold. Very good value f.

I could tell that the people who run this hotel really care about the hotel and the guests. It was a perfect and restful night's sleep for a layover in Zagreb. This is a very frinedly family hotel.We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and Tthe reception staff all spoke perfect English. The room was not big but all we needed was a comfortable room to sleep in for 3 nights. A 20 minute walk took you into the centre of Zabreb. A good value for the price if you don't look for a 3 or 4 stars hotel. A complete breakfast and a nice staff, what more ? a nice stop for a short moment. Don't forget to put this address on your gps "Trnjanske ledine 2" otherwise you will not find the proper place. We stayed in a room for 4persons, in a very hot summer night. The air conditioning was excellent. Staf very helpful and kind. Room very clean. 30 minutes of walking distance to city center, or a bus on the other side of the street. Simple but good breakfast. It wasn't expense. Although it is not located exactly at the center it is not far away. Maybe 15 minutes away from the train station. The staff was very friendly. Had free wifi and tv which has stations which air movies in English. Arrived late at night and warmly welcomed on arrival. They were really THAT good. breakfast was good. for example i asked for eggs and they made them immediately. i got lost in zagreb and got there after checkout and they understood. The hotel is very good, we were placed in the annex, which is about 50 meters from hotel.Hotel is surrounded by small houses, and although close to the main road you can enjoy in birds singing.Staff is friendly and willing to help in every situation.For breakfast you can choose hot or cold meal or both.If you go into town center we recommend a taxi (30 kn = 6 $). Would have liked to have a kettle in the room. The hotel is just outside the city cente, but it is only 2 stop away by bus and the buses leave every 5 minutes. Location of hotel is somewhat convenient (I traveled by car - don't know how easily accessible by public transportation), but surrounding area is not very appealing. If you don't mind surroundings its a good value place to stay. It's really just a place to sleep, but the low price reflects that. The location also isn't the greatest; a taxi is a must for getting anywhere. However, the staff is perfectly happy to call a taxi for you any time, and they are very, very cheap. (<5€ to anywhere in the city that we wanted to go). the room i stayed in had one one window which did not open outside but opened to the hallway. Interior a bit "older" but it was not a real disadvantage. Outside of the building made it look like it was going to be somewhat dumpy, but the inside was very cute and homey. A bit difficult to find, slow wi-fi on the second floor, breakfast could be more diverse. AC unable too cool to the set temperature 20 min walk from center Small room. - chemical breakfast;. Room was small. No sufficient light in bathroom. Un-sufficient ventilation in bathroom. Nothing in particular. The hotel is barely visible from road and is located in an unattractive area. Bit too far from city centre. Card reader didn't work, had to pay with cash which would have been a problem if I didn't have any when leaving for airport at 7am!. room gave an unclean vibe, there were tears in the sheets, there was noise and people talking and smoking on the terrace on which our room gave. we choose it just for sleeping, well we didn't sleep much. Walking to the city center from the hotel can be long. With the best will the staff's language skills (English). Small rooms Corridor looking windows!!! Too expensive for these conditions.
