We are from Norway,i and my husband live in this nice hotel for one week,we feel home there. The hotel room is small But very clean .The breakfast is so Amazing and the area to eat breakfast is like a heaven garden .Zaron,the owner of the hotel is a very helpful and warm-hearted man, he helped us with calling taxi with discount between the hotel and the AirPort , trip to the Near cities, renting car and all the things we want. We got a very good memory with Pansion Maria.By the way its very ne.
all reviews » We liked the proprietor and the city tips he gave us. The room was fine. The breakfast good not great. The location quiet and safe, although hard to find as all we had was a map. We walked to town for dinner and got rowed across the water as per advised. Thrilling. Zadar has more to offer than meets the eye, Check out the glass museum. Safe parking on the pension. Clean, small room with small balcony - incl. hairdrayer (but no hairshampoo). Breakfast ok, in or outside. Friendly, helpfull host, Walking distance to old town (not much to see there). Small 100 km to beautifull Krka Nationalpark. More restaurants at the sea close to PansionMaria. We would stay here again. the Pansion is in a pretty residential neighborhood, quiet and about a 20 minute walk to the historical center of Zadar. breakfast was served on the covered terrasse after a stormy night among the orange trees in bloom.. A delight! The staff was very helpful. We parked the car on the property, safe and convenient. Family owned and run so Staff were great. Only a short walk ( with a 100m on a row boat if you like) to old town. Good to be able to park car ( but in reality you don't need a car in Zadar). Very good breakfast as well. Zoran,our host, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He tried to be as accommodating as possible. His recommendations for sights and dining were superb. The garden eating area and the breakfast were very nice. Our welcome was the warmest we had experienced in Croatia so far. Zoran was very helpful and provided excellent advice. Car parking was free and breakfast was very good. The staff was really kind. The place is simple but totally worth it if you consider the prices of other hotels in the city. Breakfast was also really good. Rooms were comfortable and tidy but just a little outdated and small - but this was forgotten with the service we received. If you are a mature couple who can't do stairs and require twin beds be aware that you will be on the top floor. They beds are hard and the bathroom small. The mosquitoes. Either use the provided electric repellent device or shut the door. It's not incredibly central, but since we were driving we had no problems. I honestly can't think of any problems with the place. Internet not available in room (this is not uncommon in Croatia) and couldn't connect 2nd time, however not the end of the world. Everything great. Bathroom wasn't the best. Rooms not big but comfortable. Slight smell in the loo. no sea view, rooms could use a face-lift.none. Bit of a walk to Zadar old town. Room a bit small and rather bland & characterless; cramped barhroom. Must have a had a blocked drain in the bathroom and the smell was pretty bad. Also quite a walk from the city center, not ideal after dark. Room is extremely basic and tiny. No ability to pay with credit card and the room was very small. I expected more for this price.
