What people say
The owners were warm and welcoming and despite limited English did a great job orienting me on my first, jet-lagged night in the country. The apartment was just as described. It's not huge, but can sleep three in two beds. Very centrally located, genuinely a two minute walk to the seaside and key attractions. Don't be fooled by maps; the streets in the old town are tiny, so a block is not like a full city block. Everything is easily accessible.
On top of that, they had a full range of toiletri. all reviews »
The friendliness of the landlady, who welcomed us as friends and went our of her way to help us find our way, offered a free tout of the old town, and gave us a hand with the luggage.
The location: ideally located in the old town, near the main street and St anastasia Cathedral (about 30 metres and 30 seconds). At about 150 metres from the bus stop for the airport and the dock with the boats to the islands.
The quietness : very calm, both during the day and at night.
The studio comprises a bedr.
Giani and his wife Branka are the friendliest and most caring landlords that we have ever seen! They welcomed us in a very generous way, helped us with the parking place and gave us a lot of useful infos for our stay in Zadar. The apartment is simple but very practical and in a top position (central but in a very calm street)! From the windows there is a nice view on the court yard. Towels and even basic food were provided, we even had the possibility to get our clothes washed from the landlord.
The landlord and his wife are friendly and helpfull . There was everything you might need in the room - from bedsheets to detergents , coffee and milk , cups , glasses , plates , bread and other things for breakfast (no matter it shouldn be supplied) , just everything ! The landlord gave as a hand with the luggage , found a place to park the car , told us where to go and what to visit . We were really pleased with the room and the family whish rents it . Thank you , Gianny and Branka !.
Great location in the heart of Zadar's old town. Very helpful and welcoming landlord, although he didn't speak a word of English I think we managed to communicate. He provided bread, milk, coffee, tea, jam and cheese for breakfast. Tiny kitchen but very spacious flat for 3. Within walking distance of pretty much everything in Zadar, 2-minute walk to the port and the sea organ / greetings to the sun.
The location, on the peninsula right in the old town, is excellent, yet the area is nice and quiet and relaxed. The owner was so friendly and helpful, meeting us at the bus stop and showing us to the apartment on arrival. The apartment contained all necessary facilities, including plenty of towels, a hairdryer, kitchen utensils etc. Would definitely recommend this apartment.
The owners were so genuinely Croatian and greeted us with Reyki and big
smiles. If you want the quintessencial experience of this wonderful
country, then stay here. Great location and near the city bus to airport
(25kn). We'd stay here again.
Fantastic welcome - superb owners. Owners even cooked a great meal as a gift for my husbands birthday!! We left feeling liked we'd stayed with friends! Very well stocked studio apartment!! Excellent location.
the host is russian and he's very friendly and passionate. The hostel is clean and tidy, it provides almost everything we need. the location is good and we'll definitely visit Zadar next time!!!.
Perfect appt for 3 friends, great location & value at €40 p/n (cheaper than local hostel), nice kitchen with essentials for cooking & tea/coffee/hot choc facilities.
Perfect location!!!! My room was only 1 minute walk from the Forum. Very Clean and Good size room. More than expected!!! Would definitely recommend!!!!.
Excellent shlivovitz offered by the owner as a welcome! Very friendly. Very spacious bathroom. Fresh milk and breakfast essentials in the fridge.
Owner (Jani) is extremely nice and helpful (but speaks only very limited english). Apartment very spacious (for 2-4 ppl) with good bathroom.
Perfect location just around the corner from the principal attractions on a quiet side street. Daworka was very helpful and personable.
Excellent location, close to the main city points. The lady that received us was very friendly and gave all the information we needed.
The apartment is in the old city and it is easy to get around. A good choice if you want to experience Zadars old city.
I liked that Johnny helped carry my bag up the several flights of stairs. Also, the apartment was very well stocked.
Very clean and comfortable apartment right in the centre of town but quiet neighbourhood. Lovely host.
Excellent central location, great facilities for longer stays ( good kitchen).
Excellent location, very friendly and useful owners.
Very good location.
It seems unfair to complain, but the downside of being right next to a working Franciscan monastery is the bells that wake you up every morning. At least they wait until 7 to start. It's possible that after a few days you get used to it, and the locals may find it easy to sleep through. And, of course, that's what you get if you want to in the middle of an old town.
I can't really think of anything. So, just to say something, I will mention that the mirror is a bit high in the bathroom, and that the toilet seat moves when you seat on it! And suggest that a few hooks (behind the door for example) would be useful to hang your clothes while you are washing.
Other than that, I don't see.
Unfortunately Giani and Branka only speak Croatian, so we couldn't get into deeper conversation with them. Anyway, their helping hand Glorija speaks English and is also very nice and helpful!.
Can not mention anything .
This was the only place we stayed in Croatia that didn't have wi-fi, so definitely a negative. I do not recommend this flat if you are a party animal and intend to be loud while in the flat. The owner lives on the floor above, and if you wake him up he will knock on your door (not that I was loud, but he made this very clear).
Bed was a but uncomfortable but we were only there one night.
not a problem for us .... but the stairs may be an issue for some.
nothing to dislike.
The room is not very spacious.
Very difficult to park your car in the neighbothood. Apt in 2nd floor without elevator.
The room smelled some kind of "old".
The several flights of stairs... but I know, there are stairs everywhere.
The only thing missing was a toaster.
nothing.
The big bed not very confortable.
