The apartment was modern and spotless clean,with all facilities.Family run by sisters,Jeleena and angelena,they made us feel like part of the family.They were full of advice on the area and what to see and do.The apartments in a perfect spot between the beach,which is lined with lovely cafes and restaurants,and the old town.The old town is full of history with its narrow streets around the cathedral within the castle walls.The harbour is beautiful with an array of cafes and restaurants. all reviews » Villa Queen is a great accommodation, it's a modern villa that's kept absolutely spotless and the staff have a 'can do' attitude about everything. Jelena meets and greets, she's the closest thing to a concierge that you'll ever find and remember this is an apartment. You'll also meet Angelina who will offer you all the day to day help including 'gratis' breakfasts and the most wonderful Cherry Cake and Pancakes to die for. Nothing is too much trouble for them, it's the apartment that has the Bo. I loved Jelena, who is responsible for Villa Queen. She is such a lovely, friendly, and serviceminded person. Our appartment was excellent, large balcony, fantastic view, extremely clean. Furthermore, the service was so excellent. We did not order breakfast but Jelena insisted on providing us with breakfast in our appartment every morning! And everybody were very friendly. Finally, on the day of our departure we were provided with sandwiches etc. for our journey. I can highly recommend villa qu. This has been one of the best apartment experience we have ever had. The staff is one of a kind - they make the sun shine even on a rainy day! The hospitality is fantasic, the breakfast delicious and everything shines after cleaning. Villa Queen is perfectly situated both for city tour to Trogir / Okrug Gornji / Split, for walking through beautiful sceanery and for swimming and relaction. We can highly recommand Villa Queen! We were very warmly received and were made to feel at home, we were given a lot of information that was practical and helped us to complete our itinerary. We had a fantastic view of the bay, were right on top of the beach area and within walking distance of the ancient town of Trogir. All in all, a fantastic experience that we would recommend to anyone. Trogir is a an attractive old mediaeval town. It is only a quarter of an hour bus drive from Split airport and very good starting point for a holiday. The accommodation was spacious and modern and included a very nice balcony with sea view. The Villa Queen service was super: a free bowl of fruits at the start, free transportation from the town centre and providing free bottles of local spirits and lunch at our departure. I have never been to a hotel where the staff is so friendly and kind. When we arrived, the made the effort to introduce themselves to the whole family, brought us cold beer and drinks and fresh fruit to enjoy. We had an early departure, so they packed us lunches and gave us a bottle of wine. Overall a very pleasant stay in a nice apartment 10 minutes walk to the city center but away from the crowds. Warm and welcoming. It was a pity do not find this place before. The better hotel I was in long time. They were fantastic with us. They present us with fruit, juice and coffee when we arrived. At night we had cheese, jam and a bottle of wine. The offered us all kinds of help. The appartament was very clean, big and with view to the see. The small breakfast was very good. A wonderfull place for to came back!. The owner and the staff are very friendly and helpfull. You are met with their sincere smile, great kindness, with homemade pancake and original Croatian coffee, being made specially for you! Rooms are really clean and fresh, you have a wonderful seaview from the balcony. Brekfast is very good! There are a lot of restaurants and beach bars nearby, a big wonderful beach and a supermarket. We were back at Villa Queen after four days onboard a sailboat. We were met with the same hospitality and kindness that we experienced during the stay prior to the sail trip. Beautiful apartment, immaculately clean with a terrific breakfast, lovely views, fantastic warm welcome from Slavica,(fruit, ham, cheese in fridge, drinks offered on arrival, bottle of wine as a gift etc), walking distance of Trogir. Owner Jelena made a point of coming to talk to us as she had been away when we arrived. Parking so we did not need to use the car. Beach nearby. Angelina, our hôstess,was very welcoming, efficient and friendly. She enjoyed practicing her English. She brought us juice and rolls, and then beers, upon arrival. They offered to drive usj into Trogir but we decided to walk. Surprisingly, When we left Angelina packed us a lunch and gave us a bottle of wine. A great place to stay made better by a fine hostess. The staff at Villa Queen do absolutely everything they can to make life comfortable and easy for guests. The rooms are spotless, comfortable and good size. Breakfasts were very good. An extremely pleasant place to stay that we would happily recommend to friends. Trogir was our favorite town along the whole Dalmatian coast. From the moment I booked the communication and welcome from Jelena was amazing. The facilities of the apartment were new and modern. Breakfast was excellent and location perfect between the old town and the beach. We hired bikes for 2 days which I would recommend as we easily toured the whole island. Wonderfull breakfast, super accomodation, very clean and tidy. Highly recommended, the best choice in Trogir by far. Friendly personnel. They even called us a day before we started our trip and offered help for reaching the hotel from the airport. Every morning we they brought us delicious pancakes. The rooms were clean and nice. The location was excellent. We had a great view to the bay from the balcony. Jelena was a fantastic host. She went out of her way to make us welcome on arrival and to make our stay enjoyable. We were given coffee and picked us up afterwards. The apartment was spacious and well equipped and if we needed anything then we only had to ask. We will definitely stay again. Knowing that we were leaving on a midday bus for Dubrovnik, she presented us with complementary picnic lunches (as she did on our arrival). We also liked that the hotel was situated in a short distance to the old town and to a beach. We can definitivly go there again. This is the first time to make a comment on this but I can gaurantee you that this hotel is absolutely the best service I have ever experienced in Europe. Beaches were in walking distance as well as the old city of Trogir (by a shortcut). We really liked the apartmant, service and place itself. It was in the middle to the city center(Trogir) and to the beach. Hosts were very friendly offering a nice food. The staff could not be more hepful, really nice ladies. The apartment is great, all new and clean. Also had a great view. Had a great time and would definetely go back. The apartment is very modern, clean, with amazing sea view. The welcome and attention from Jalena and Angelina was superb . We had 2 fabulous weeks at Villa. Everything was perfekt. Noise from road. The only mirror is in the bathroom, would benefit with a mirror elsewhere in apartment. It was nothing not to like. At times there can be many tourists and back-packers in Trogir. The quality of the food provided by local restaurants could be improved. A little bit noisy because of the road, that is close to the appartments. There's not enough pedestrian walks alon the roads. Slavica only spoke German which might be a problem for some people if Jelena is not around. Not the fault of the owners but the walk down to the town was along a busy road with only partial pavements and then down a lane with motor scooters whizzing past. On leaving we spent 1 hour in stationary traffic to do 1 mile as there are 2 bridges to negotiate to return to the mainland (Ciova is an island as is Trogir). Luckily we were not heading to the airport. Some day time road noise on the balcony mainly from scooters buzzing along the road outside - very quickly learnt to ignore it and caused no problems at night. Take a torch as there is an area by the road with no pavement. Taking suitcases up the stairs, but the female receptionist insisted on carrying them for us. None. Nothing to dislike about this holiday.
