The purpose with our stay in Split was only to 'land' - and then off to the island Brac/Bol. However, we found House Sandra very clean and nice, situated nearby the harbour (for all communications) and the old town and also the little beach in Split. A perfect stay if you only plan to spend 1-2 nights in Split. We also had a very good email correspondence with the owner before we got there. We can highly recommend this place!.

The staff were lovely - after we booked, the owner contacted us to meet us on arrival in Split offering to meet us and walk us to our apt., which was absolutely spotless clean. 5 minutes walk from the bus station / harbour which was convenient for us because we came on the bus from Zadar and left by boat to Hvar. Also just 5 minutes to the main centre. Would highly recommend!. Excellent location next to the beach and to the city centre. Apartments are good equipped with all facilities and there is also a supermarket on the other side of the street. Very friendly and helpful staff: they came to pick me up at the station and showed me all the reference points in the city. Moreover, if you need something, they are ready to help you straightaway. It was a very nice stay!. Wonderful place to stay! The room was spotlessly clean, and only a 10 minute walk from the ferry. What stood out was the owner's hospitality - he was kind enough to pick us up from the ferry, even though we arrived late, and he was even nice enough to find a parking space for us to park our car for a few days. Great place to stay while in Split, good value for money, and would recommend!. The rooms are very clear and tidy, with stong wifi connection. The owner and his family are extremely friendly and helpful, they sent us a detailed email to teach us how to go to the apartment. After we arrived, the owner helped us to find a convenient place for parking our car. I strongly recommend it to other travellers. Excellent communication with owner before travel. He was waiting for me at the bus station and wheeled my luggage to the guest house. Gave suggestions for local restaurant, bakery and market. Small room but clean and had fridge, teapot, mugs, cutlery, etc. Great location, short straight walk to the old town. The House was very near to the boats, buses and trains, which we used. Shops and restaurants were very near and everything was very cheap.The local people including the owner of House Sandra, were very helpful, he met us at the bus station, when we arrived. The owner met me at the bus station and walked me to the house, pointing out things along the way. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It's a great option if you want to be near the Diocletian Palace area, it's just a few minutes' walk. The accommodation was in a good location and was clean and tidy. Even though we arrived early (and left late), we were allowed to store our luggage whilst we explored the town. There were basic food facilities. The family were friendly and helpful. Vjekoslav was fab - meeting us at the bus station, explaining about the ferries, and generally being friendly and available. The room was lovely. I also loved the location - quiet ad safe but close to the centre. Highly recommended. The house was on short walking distance of the beach and the old town. The host and hostess were friendly. Also, the aitconditioning was very nice. Although the accomodation was in the city centre, it was still very quiet at night. The owners were friendly and helpful, they collected me from the bus station and showed me where the key places were. The staff could not have been more helpful. They even wrote to us with detailed information on how to find them. It is well located. Location. Nothing. It was perfect for what we were looking for. Difficult to find a parking space near it, but the owner helped us to overcome this problem. Nothing really, everything was to our satisfaction. Nothing!. The shower was at a funny height and the walls were thin. Both of these are common in Croatia so no big deal. Nothing. Hard to find. They do provide directions. Important to note the "skyscraper" (on the left) mentioned is actually only 14 stories. When you see it, the turn is a little alley, directly across from it; you may miss completely. Turn in there (right). Can't pay by credit cards. No parking on site. On arrival they did move one of their cars so we could park but it was a public space and they could not guarantee we will find a space should we move our car and if we do, suggest we look for parking on main Street. Nothing. We had the room at the basic floor, it was very small and a little bit dark. But it was OK for us as we spent only 1 night in transit. no curtains for the windows. Outdated bathroom with miserable shower and water wasting toilet. No credit card!. You can have a little problem to find it. Nothing. Poor wifi recepion. Rooms are a little small. The price is too high for the characteristics of the room. Hard to find the place, no credit card could be used.
