This proved to be a very friendly place to stay and nothing was too much trouble! Restaurant recommendations were greatly appreciated especially as the first restaurant we tried (Konoba Matejuska) gave us such an excellent gluten-free meal we ate there again on the second night. The owner's were charming and very helpful. The room was beautiful and what's more ,comfortable. The situation in the town of Split was just right, quiet etc. with plenty of good restaurants close by. And ,for the icing on the cake, a magnificent day out on their sailing boat. We were given a friendly reception and we well looked after. Rooms very well-appointed amd modern - excellent bathroom - though layout of furniture which although making the room attractive wasn't always as functional as it might have been. Provision of tea/coffee making facilities a nice touch and much appreciated. Excellent position for access to the centre of Split. - Haydn

We are located in the old town of Varos at the foot of Marjan Hill, on the western side of Split's centre, close to the ACI Marina. Zephyrus is also only a few minutes' walk from the Saint Frane Church, the city centre and main attractions of Split. Visit the Palace of Diocletian, Sveti Duje Cathedral, many museums, fruit and vegetable markets and Marjan Hill offering spectacular views of Split and the surrounding islands. All beaches are within walking distance (15 to 20 minutes).
