The staff was very friendly and spoke fluent English. The hotel was a very modern design, which was very cool. The breakfast selections were great - eggs, bacon, meats, cheeses and many juices and desserts. There is a very nice pool in the front of the hotel although I didn't have occasion to use it. It's only about a 5 - 7 minute walk down to the water and then about 10 more into the main square. It's a beautiful walk along the water, especially during the time of the sunset. There are also.

We had a great and wonderful stay at Hotel Arupinum. The hotel staff excellent and very friendly. Location is close to the old town, and we coud go walking appreciating the views of Rovinj city. Finding the hotel by car is very difficult but this is more the fault of the Rovinj street signs and not the hotel. If you follow signs for Hotel Eden, you can find Arupinum since it's nearby. I don't know how far is it to walk to the beach, but its not directly by the sea. Nothing. Nothing.... Nothing to be mentioned at all. There was absolutely nothing bad about that hotel. We enjoyed the stay!. If I need to address something, it would be that the poolarea is somewhat small, but since most of the guests went to the beach, it was no problem at all. Maybe more of an academical problem?. They need to offer a better variety for breakfast. Food choice is very basic, far from being rated 4 stars. nothing. Only that the pool shut at 7pm. A bit pricey but Rovinj is not cheap generally. Nothing. It hasn't got a direct access to the beach, it takes about 10-15 minutes to walk, but everything else was perfect. slightly longish but pleasant walk to downtown sites. The pool area is in the front of the hotel next to the street, therefore the sound of cars was a little distracting. No soundproofing on balcony doors-you could hear every bit of traffic at night. Although not a criticism of breakfast maybe a more traditional English breakfast. Eating was expensive but worth it for the quality and service. More expensive (20%) than other accommodation we stayed at in Istria region. Walking distance to sights longer than expected in the hot summer sun. It could have a bit more closet space, problems with wireless connection in the room. A little far from the old town and the sea, but still walking distance. Signage to the hotel was poor. Reception/bar/restaurant all in one area - a separate bar area would be nice for drinks in the evening. The street is a little noisy (if you want peace and you don't mind the pool view, ask for a "back view" room). No see view from hotel. The equipment of the bathroom are not convieneunt : two heavy glass doors hard to pull out and no soapholder in the showerroom. Breakfast spread was often not available at 0730. Dorucak je skroman,. Nothing. not enough parking space, poor breakfast, sunday at 10 am no food available, back yard view. far too expensive for what you get!!!!!!!!!! after paying the bill I really felt ripped off. not worth 180 EUR a night.
