This was a great hotel. Very modern with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Architecturally and as measured by position views etc. this is a gem.
In the case of the experience at the hotel we were not let down. Staff
were excellent, always helpful and friendly. Facilities were great;
wonderful outdoor pool with towels provided and poolside service .

the waterfront took you to the old town in about 40 minutes or taxi

The hotel has private parking which is very important in Trogir. It's located near the main street, very close to the market and to the bridge to the old town (5 minutes walk).

I decided to stay in Trogir, instead of Split for my very early flight from Split airport at 6.15am. (From Split it is about 20-25km and from Trogir, it is less than 10km to the airport). The hotel arranged a local taxi for me and It was less than a 10min taxi ride to the airport. The hotel is very modern and clean and less than 5 min. walk to the old town of Trogir.

We stayed for three days in the beginning of October 2013. The weather was really bad so we didnt use the outside pool or the close beach/water. We did though enjoy the room with jacuzzi, sofa-group and wide-screen TV. Evenings we decided to stay at the hotel and enjoy the great courses (can really recommend the filet mignon w. truffles and the macaroni), and every morning we had one of the best breakfasts ive ever had; Eggs Benedict with local smoked ham and salmon. My stay at Palace Suites was truly fabulous. I wanted to be in Diocletian Palace so I knew not to expect a big chain style hotel. This boutique property was delightful- the staff went out of their way to be helpful, my suite was beautiful-by far the largest Suite I have stayed in during my European travels.
