The staff are very patient and helpful as they could respond my enquiries of how to go to the hotel and next destination online. Though the answer is not perfect, they have shown their sincerity in the response. I did not quit the choice of the hotel as the staff has really tried to help me to go there and next spot though it is a bit out of my route. I stayed hotel in winter season. It is not crowded. The other is that the Hotel allows you to pay in Euros but they then calculate in the local Croatian currency the 'Kuna' and the instead of paying the amount quoted in Euros ended up paying an additional amount that they blamed on some difference that they could not explain.There are no parking space before check in. Internet conncetion was not working during my stay. They should divide rooms in two categories: smokers, non-smokers. Small and insufficient parking place.Receptionist at time of arrival was not too friendly. Poor Internet service with rip-off prices for the poor service. Otherwise, nice hotel that is worth the price. Poor towels, missing shower gel and shampoo ,problems with parking place. Description of hotel was poor, public areas were uninviting and uncomfortable, food was poor, 1 room was a single made into double we complained it was chaged following night reluctantly.

The Opatija Riviera is located in the Gulf of Kvarner, on the Eastern shore of the Istrian Peninsula, where the sea makes its deepest cut into the mainland.
A line of eight tourist towns with a number of hotels, restaurants, villas, parks and little ports from Volosko to Mošćenička Draga, stretches within the distance of 16 miles, on a narrow coastal belt at the foot of the Učka Mountain (4,596.50 ft).
It is only a few hours drive from a number of important Western European centers (Milan, Munch, Vienna, Graz, Budapest), within anyone’s easy reach.

AP RIJEKA – Island Krk, Omišalj – bridge Krčki most (a toll payment required) – via Rijeka - pass Kraljevica - take the new Kvarner motorroad above Bakar A7 (Sv.Kuzam) – direction Pula (HR), Ljubljana (SLO) or Trieste (I).

After app. 17 km and 200 m after the OMV petrol station, turn right (direction Pula/Opatija). At the crossroad and traffic lights turn left (direction Opatija) after which follow the road signs toward Opatija. Once in the town center continue by the main road in the direction of the hotel. The hotel is situated on the left side of a one-way street.

AP PULA – via Rijeka – by a semi-motorway A9 and A8 (the Istrian epsilon) which includes the Ucka Tunnel (5 km-a toll payment required). At the crossroad and traffic lights turn right (direction Opatija) after which follow the road signs toward Opatija. Once in the town center continue by the main road in the direction of the hotel. The hotel is situated on the left side of a one-way street.

Driving from the direction of ZAGREB (also BUDAPEST, GRAZ) : Take the motor road A1 (a toll payment required) – direction Rijeka. At Bosiljevo continue with motor road A6 to Rijeka (a toll payment required). At Rijeka continue by the Kvarner motor road A7 - direction Pula (HR), Ljubljana (SLO) or Trieste (I).

Take E70 towards RIJEKA – via POSTOJNA (a toll payment required). At Postojna, turn left (direction Croatia – Rijeka). Entry in Croatia (Rupa). Enter the motor road A7 (a toll payment required) – via Rijeka. After app 8 km turn right towards Opatija. At the crossroad and traffic lights turn left (direction Opatija) after which follow the road signs toward Opatija. Once in the town center continue by the main road in the direction of the hotel. The hotel is situated on the left side of a one-way street.

Driving from the direction of TRIESTE (Italy): Take E61 – direction Slovenia/Kozina. Entry into Slovenia (Kozina). Continue by E61. Entry into Croatia (Pasjak). Continue in direction of Rijeka/Opatija. Enter A7 (a toll payment required) – via Rijeka. After app 8 km turn right towards Opatija.
