This stunning boutique hotel, located a short distance from Split, was the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in Croatia. The room was perfect, grounds were beautifully kept across the road from the beach and staff were extremely helpful organizing day trips, restaurant suggestions and even a breakfast pack for us due to an early check-out. The hotel restaurant is upscale and very good and the breakfast a la cart menu was an experience I have never come across in all our travels before and .
all reviews » We stayed for three days in the beginning of October 2013. The weather was really bad so we didnt use the outside pool or the close beach/water. We did though enjoy the room with jacuzzi, sofa-group and wide-screen TV. Evenings we decided to stay at the hotel and enjoy the great courses (can really recommend the filet mignon w. truffles and the macaroni), and every morning we had one of the best breakfasts ive ever had; Eggs Benedict with local smoked ham and salmon. Though u can really select . The Damianni was excellent! We enjoyed the ambiance and feel of the Damianni.....an intimate boutique hotel and a luxurious oasis. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating beginning with Tea at the reception to Ivan and other waiters in the restaurant to housekeeping, as well. The restaurant is outstanding! They have a great chef and the food is creative and delicious. Beautiful presentations! Damianni has gorgeous views of the Adriatic Sea. Can't wait to go back!. The hotel staff were so friendly I felt like I was so at home - they really looked after us. They tried to accomodate us in anyway they could including getting us ferry, bus times and arranging a taxi. The food for dinner and breakfast was tasty and so well presented and was tailored to your tastes. The rooms were cosy and brand new. Very friendly staff, luxurious atmosphere without any fervour, delicious food at the Goldcode restaurant, there are just 12 rooms that's why there is no noise at all. The sea is very clean and comfortable. the hotel staff was very kind, free parking garage, swimming pool, hotel suite with jacuzzi, the design of the rooms is very comfortable, we would love to come again, my family really loved it here. Everything was excellent, nothing to complain..... Great staff, beautiful hotel. whirpool, breakfast. Almost everything. Can't think of anything... the only thing I would say is it is better to visit this hotel if you stay a few days and have a car because of the distance from split. The bus was easily accessible and cheap from Split. There is 10 meters between the beach and the hotel's swimming pool, but you need to cross the road to reach the sea. The beach is not private and of course it could be better. There is occasionally a problem with the drainage and so the rooms and parts of the hotel smetl of effluent for 2 out of the 3 days we were there. It might be worth checkimg to see if this problem has been resolved before booking. Location! There is nothing clean around, next to street. Restaurant is overrated. We had to leave.... too close by mainroad. Neighborhood.
