Surrounded by tall pine trees and rolling hills, Resort Turist Grabovac is quietly located 8 km from Plitvice Lakes National Park. It was a fantastic installation. The room was very comfortable, nice, with brand new furnitures. It is not far away to the Plitvice entrances. Recommend to stay night before to visit the lakes, as we did. However, I would have stayed there for more than a night!. the proximity with the Plitvice Park. The place and the campsite arround the hotel, the paceful and the room,which was very clean and new.

At around 8 kilometers from the camp "Turist", you can find "NP Plitvička jezera". The park consists of a series of 16 crystal blue-green lakes. Because of their unique beauty, they were declared a world heritage in 1979 and are under UNESCO protection.

Eco-ethno village Rastoke was created as a natural phenomenon made by green-blue river flow of Slunjčica over travertine barriers joining the mouth of river Korana. (Since 1969, Rastoke has been declared as a historical and cultural monument).

Three of the four explored Barać caves, (8 kilometers) are adorned with very rare dripstones, and bridges formed by stalactites and stalagmites.
