We drove down the coast of Croatia for over 2 weeks before arriving in Dubrovnik. the hotel is located on the Babin Kuk section-a peninsula to the north of the walled city. The front desk was excellent-they immediately called the rental car company and made arraingements for the rental car company to send someone to the hotel to pick up our rented car (you have to be slightly insane to drive in Dubrovnik). We stayed here for a week commencing 5 July travelling with UK Holiday Options. Check in was welcoming and polite and we were in our room in no time at all before heading straight down to the beach bar. The room had comfortable beds, a sofa, TV, mini bar, safe, a large balcony with furniture overlooking the beach, plenty of storage space for our bits and pieces, air conditioning and wooden floors. We stayed for 3 nights. Our room was much better than expected, spacious with sofas, large terrace/balcony overlooking the beach with great sea, coastal and sunset views. Our bed was decorated with fresh rose petals and the room was very modern and light. The bathroom probably needs a refurb however was quite satisfactory. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast offered a great selection of hot and cold foods. We found the piano bar most inviting and relaxing after a long day of sights - Antonias
