  Wow. Where I start? This is such a lovely place. For a very reasonable price compared to other accommodated we stayed in at Split and Dubrovnik we had a spotlessly clean and very well presented apartment here for 6 nights. Bol is a lovely little town with a pretty harbour where you can sit and watch the little boats come and go from the numerous c... what people say » afes and restaurants. There are also some great little beaches nearby, apart from the famous Zlatni Rat, where the stunningly clear water gently laps - Where do I start..... From the owners texting us to find out our arrival time, so they could come and pick us up and take us to the Villa. On arrival we were greeted with some home made wine and a very relaxed approach to checking in and payment (which is refreshing after my experience of a lot of other countries. I hope Croatia doesn't change). The owners have to be amongst the most friendly and helpful people I have ever met on my travels. The room was a great size for us both, was very moder

  Overall really enjoyed our stay, wished we'd extended in fact. Location is superbly between both the obvious beach and the restaurants at the little harbour being little over 10 min stroll to each. We where there in June and the pool was not crowded which was very nice. Modern and spacious with good breakfast. A walk to the town of Bol took about 15 minutes with children 6-9 years. Zlatni Rat beach was very nice but crowded. That's how it is when the beach is famous! Bol is a neat place to visit. Overall a very nice stay!

The chief-manager is very friendly lady which helped me to manage my wife's birthday in easy way: ordering very nice bouquet of flowers (exactly the type I wanted) from the city center & managing delivery, helping out with breakfast in bed that day, getting a table at best restaraunt for the evening. A member of staff checked with us each morning at breakfast that all was well with our stay and provided us with a packed lunch on the day we left as we left before breakfast. Zlatni Rat overall is excellent and yet so close to Split, it had many facilities close to the beach and cocktail bars and snack bars metres away. Great if you have kids, heaps of water sports and water jumpy castles.
