By Chinese standards, this hotel was a luxury hotel. Still not up to European standards, but relatively clean, comfortable and perfectly acceptable. Good value for money and excellent location, less than 5 minutes walk from key tourist locations in Xian.
Rooms were ok.
Location is rather good, not far from the muslim quarter and the bell tower. Several good restaurants nearby. Not so expensive if booking by internet. all reviews »
Noise from the nearby nightclub! Rude people talking in corredors and slamming their doors.
Cleanliness of the room is barely acceptable. Noise from outside and inside is unbearable. Staff don't speak English (but they communicate with an electronic translator). The second day there wasn't hot water in the shower. And when leaving we asked them to call a taxi but they didn't, as they only do it if going to the airport and we were going to the railway station.
