Lonita, Kyle, Sally and Jack working in Horizon Club are a credit to your hotel chain. Service was superb and I have stayed in many Shangri La's and visited Club Lounges in many hotels. Their personal service is only equalled by the 6 star you have in Oman. I hope this is maintained as I will be back.....thanks for making my mothers trip to China one she will always remember. I liked the location because being based in Hong Kong, it was only 5 minutes walk from the border and train stations. Good access to the business district and commercial areas. It had extremely good restaurants and staff were very friendly and cooperative.
all reviews » We were made to feel at home in the Horizon Club as soon as we arrived. It was amazing. Cherry, Jo Jo, Jack and Lonita went out of their way to assist us at all times. The stay was very good was on a business trip,very good location near to train and easy access to the business district. Will stay there again. I like the tranquility and also the image of the hotel. It's located not too close to the city center and close to the trains. The staff is competent and friendly. The lobby, restaurants and meeting rooms look good, quality of the food is perfect. Nothing. I stayed during a national holiday which meant a couple of the restaurants were closed for staff holidays, this is not really a negative, just unfortunate timing. The room was a wee bit too small for club rooms. Was expecting it to be bigger. The rooms need to be refurbished, allthough still OK, ther are no longer living up to the expectations for a 5 star hotel. Too expensive for the area. The Best Western (next door) was 4x lower in price and the rooms are exactly the same. Too expensive for location and getting a bit old and tired looking. Expensive for shenzhen. Gym very few equipments, just 3. staff in coffee shop during big rush, waiting.....,waiting. Break fast average. Room entry door too small, not comfortable to take big size luggages, nothing really special for the big brand name. Worst for the price.
