I always stay in 4-5 stars hotel, and this one is the best place I have ever had a chance to stay - not only in Asia, but Middle East and Europe. The setting of the room, the size, design, the view and the price. We enjoyed it so much that we returned to Shanghai few days later to stay there one more night. A lovely room with plenty of space. The extra lounge room was great for my husband's business meeting. It is within walking distace to the bund.The hotel has two hotel options for food.
all reviews » Very attentive front desk staff. Housekeeping is helpful. We received upgrade during our stay in the hotel. The suit is spacious, comfortable, "high-tech" decorated with taste. The hotel room design is awesome! The best I have ever visited ( even better than W Hotel )! Thus I stayed in hotel room for most of the time. Comfortable and clean rooms nicely decorated. Close to Bund area with very nice view of the city. Good staff at front desk and very helpful. We loved the modern furnishing in the suite. Everything is tastefully decorated (down to ash trays). The breakfast had abundant options. Our room was excellent both in terms of overall size and the quality of the accommodation. Excellent value for money, the best hotel in Asia I've had a chance to stay. The hotel is really good for a value under 100 euros per night. -spacious and clean room, tasty breakfast, good location. It is quiet place and complete darkness in the bedroom. We liked the toilet ( it's a autometic ). Great location, very nice design. Probably the language skills of the stuff should be a little bit improved, but besides that was excellent. Besides the laundry service takes a little too long (min. 24h). There seemed to be some problem with our booking. They seemed to think we were someone else. They stared at our passports for a long time.Almost as bad as the customs officials. The glass toilet door caused issues when we had a meeting with clients. Room temperature is difficult to adjust. Throughout our stay, we had to ask several times the housekeeping to adjust the temperature for us. We are party of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids. We were told at the hotel that an additional bed costs 300 rmb, which is relatively expensive compared to a hotel night of 720 rmb per room. Fitness / swimming pool is under renovation, which is a big disappointment for both the mammy and the kids. The location was not that near to Subway station n takes 15mins walk. Some lights flickering on the bed and need to be replaced. The non-smoking room I requested had faint smokiness every time we walked in. Can be a problem getting taxis from outside the hotel especially if it is raining. Staff didn't speak much Americano. - slow internet connection. Location is a bit inconvenient. The ambiance of the dining (breakfast) restaurant. Deposit (1.500 RMB); Staff was not very friendly. Lighting level wasn't great - a little dingy. Not a very convenient location. The air-con was not working good. It broke down 2 in the middle in the night. After switching the room, The air-con with the same problem. No option for vegetarain and quiet expensive.This hotel is quiet away from the Metro. Maybe missing a swimming pool?. Staff were useless . Air conditioning was poor.
