  Fabulous service from Ms chen which is the key during traveling . In here you will get all your needs, efficiently and warmly! We will recommend to all my friend n definitely wld love to comeback again. The location is also our favorite though not central to west lake but it sits quietly n easy reach to many not so hot spots, away from tourist gro... what people say » ups!we love it! - The location is excellent - right next to west lake. You can pop out for a walk any time and you'll find yourself in the park. The staff there were exceptionally lovely. They were very helpful and catering, and they made us feel like home. I also love the decor on the inside. Would recommend to anyone!

  The location is very good! It is located right inside the old village which is another tourist hotspot and a lot of good, traditional Hangzhou food with varying price range around. The staffs are very friendly and the room is clean. It is around 15 mins walk to Xi Hu. I will definitely stay here again if I go Hangzhou again! My parents like it ver... what people say » y much too. - Excellent location. Located on a street next to a popular Hefang Walking Street. No problem shopping for local souvenirs and eating local food. McDonalds is less than 100m away. Very near to bus stops. Travel between airport and this hotel can be done via public bus, thus very economical.

  Banpinzi feels like a French country inn. In off-peak traffic, from West Lake it's a brief bus ride to your stop, then a five-minute walk down a forested road. The staff is young and friendly, the rooms may be cramped, but there's art on the walls and you hear chickens in the mornings. My room felt like a painting by Bonnard.   The staff is just great, helpful, friendly, smiling and generous. I remember I was sunbathing, looking at the beautiful bamboo forest, when someone working at Howoo came to me and offered me a delicious cup of coffee, though I had asked for nothing.   Rooms are clean, spacious, well designed. Beds are comfortable. The hotel has just been renovated, it has a country feel with wooden floors. Great location for West Lake. 10 minute walk. - The location was great - 10 min walk or 3 min bike ride away from the west lake. The service was good too and the hotel owners were really nice.

  Beautiful location on the hillside. View from the balcony was really nice and peaceful. We enjoyed the stroll to West Lake thru wonderful scenery from the hostel. Staff were friendly and helpful but I don't think English is their strong suit (aside from the American Chinese owner).

  The staff is friendly, even if they speak a little English. They can provide you only few additoonal information regarding how to rent bicycles, going to local traditional restaurants, activities and so on only because of their poor English. If you can speak/understand a little Chinese they can give you good advice. Anyway, on a wall in the hostel... what people say » , someone (a guest, I suppose) spent some time writing some of the fundamental info you need. Great location, very close to the long bridge on the lak - The dim environment give a very comfortable feeling. And the receptionists are nice and talkative.
