  the receptionist is very nice and make us a quick checkin. room is very clean and big enough to relax. furnitures are modern. The location is quite wonderful with convenient traffic connections. Just down town. It is definitely a satisfactory experience. Price is also a surprise. - Room wss very claen, quiet, comfortable and nice and warm.

  Breakfast room at top floor - Staff were very friendly and helpful, but shy about talking with a westerner - I was the only one staying there! Location is great. Decor is excellent. Single room was really big with a double bed. Non-smoking bedroom really was non-smoking(no lingering smell) - a rarity in China.

Sam in the Concierge team can speak English and was most helpful, even before our arrival in Hangzhou, by answering all our email queries about tours from Hangzhou to Huangshan (Yellow mountain). Staff is very pleasent. Western options in the jw marriot menu, nice swimming pool. Dont have this weird smell that you feel sometimes due to chinese cuisine. Nice executive room and good options for western breakfast in the 16 floor. Internet in room.

  The Holiday Inn Xiaoshan is directly connected to a mall which is great. The mall has a decent new Italian restaurant, a kfc and Starbucks among other local restaurants. The breakfast spread was great with live eggs. - Location was the most important to me. Clean and good facilities
