The room was better than advertised, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was a pure treat...mostly Asian, of course, but there was eggs and toast and oj and stuff available, too. Delicious. Plus, the location is very, very good...a walk or a dirt cheap taxi ride to anywhere I wanted to go. Heck, I *want*... what people say » to stay there again. Excellent value. - The hotel is in a good location close to the walking street and two metro stations.The units are modern,comfortable and well appointed & equipped.The breakfast was tasty with a wide variety of tastes catered for.Metro line 2 is very handy for both shanghai airports and fast intercity trains

This was a nice touch to an excellent hotel. Located in the hart of Shanghai, from the airport or trainstation easy to reach by taxi. The empoyees and staff were very friendly and their english is good. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.   The hotel is very well located downtown, at a walking distance of many attractions. Rooms are clean and confortable. Staff is professional and efficient.Our room was supposed to be located at a lower floor but we asked for a quiet room and we have been upgraded to the 7th floor. The view was not so great, but the room was quiet (except for some no... what people say » ises in the morning). We could leave the luggage at the reception the next day until the evening when we had our flight. We definitely recommend it! - The location of this hotel is amazing. It's not far from East Nanjing Road metro station. There is exchange machine in the lobby. The staff speak English and they are very friendly. The room is cosy and has a bath, what is a really rare thing for China. I am sure that I will stay there every time I come to Shanghai.
