Almost all the staff spoke English. I stayed in a private double room and it was spacious and clean enough, the bathroom is very good, and the mattress OK. Wifi in the room. Quiet at night. Perfect location, close to the main street to go shopping, and to the line 2 metro station which takes you straight to Pudong.

Beddings, blankets and mattresses were very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful, there was one who spoke fluent english. The location was absolutely perfect.

We stayed in a double room for one night only and were happy with the hostel. Nice big, clean room with a great view, big new bathroom. Shanghai Blue Mountain Bund Youth Hostel is a hidden in a side road (great as not too noisy) but has a GREAT location, about 3-4 minutes to Nanjing Road metro station. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the pedestrian street and public transport, but far enough to not get any noise from it. Lobby is grand, and the open restaurant is excellent, get the grilled salmon for lunch! Gym facilities and pool is fantastic, lots of space and good equipment. The staff at the hotel were very good to me (father) and my 14 month old daughter who were travelling with my sister for for a few days, than on our own for a few more days. For the most part the facilities were very clean. Lobby and restaurant were very nice. Excellent location. I'd use this hotel again.

from the airport or trainstation easy to reach by taxi.
The empoyees and staff were very friendly and their english is good.
