The setting, the large suite-type room with balconies, the dining room, the food, the service - the whole ambience, but in particular the excellent help from Birgitta Svensson who welcomed us warmly on arrival and helped us arrange tours. A brilliant stay. Thank you. The sea view was spectacular, the mini suite was great, the breakfast was excellent lot of great food and variety, the staff at the bar were very nice and efficient as well as professional, great Pisco Sour, great dinner dance Friday night at the restaurant !!!.
all reviews » I loved this hotel! I stayed there for 8 nights and enjoyed everything about this place. Very safe walkable area, close to everything Vine Del Mar has to offer. Right across the street from beach and block away from shoppng. Great restaurants within 2 blocks. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great, right on the beach and close to many hotels and the casino. The guided city tour, which included Valparaiso was very worthwhile. The bar, the restaurant, the staff, the location, the view, proximity to restaurants and shopping as well as walking on the beach. Great location, room good sized, clean, comfortable, staff excellent. Breakfast buffet was very good. Would highly recommend. The location is perfect. Wonderful views of the ocean. The room was small & the bathroom was tiny. Unless you pay extra for an ocean view your room doesn't look like the picture. If you want a balcony you have to request it. Way to busy at that beach. Bed, bathroom. The rooms were tiny, especially the bathroom. It was impossible to bend over in the shower so you couldn't shave your legs. Except for the concierge, we found the staff to be unfriendly and dismissive. The quality was not so good if compared with the price. No access to the swimming pool midweek for no reason. Room basic and very noisy. Nothing to do with a 4 star they aim to be.

The 8th floor of our hotel will be under maintenance from the 16th to the 27th of April, therefore our pool and gym will not be operational.
