Prime location, a walking distance from the main shopping area, restaurants and business center. Apartment size is optimum, well furnished and have all necessities.Special security for the bulding with automatic doors and guards. Central location close to services, right next door to a supermarket. Close to the metro and to two museums. close to two neighborhoods with great dining facilities and safe to walk around at night.

Very good location for visit by foot all the center of the city. Lots of space, two rooms, use of the facilities like the communal swimming pool and the cheap washing machines. Apartments are not cleaned well by the house-keeping, so this has to be considered. Staff not very friendly, correct but accelerated. It would be nice to have cleaning supplies for crockery to be used multiple times. While the are enough dishes for breakfast, there is nothing to use for cooking, besides two pans, or for cleaning. The dishes are done by the room mate, but she doesn't show up everyday. In fact, you never know, if the room is cleaned or not. Room was smaller than it looked in pictures, but still a decent size, especially for the price. Check in was a bit confusing (it is located in a big apartment complex, doorman didn't speak english). Accommodation is spread between three adjoining towers that are connected by an exposed footpath: not ideal if raining and travelling with a lot of luggage. A courtesy umbrella is available in the apartment. Suprisingly, only bath gel but no bar of soap was available in the bathroom. Also, there was no sponge nor detergent to wash the dishes, nor a tea-towel. None of the three remote controls worked so we could not use the TV nor sound system. There were no tourist maps or information about Santiago in the office - luckily we brought one from home. The room although clean is in need of repair in quite a number of places. Nothing. It took us 2 hours to get through customs and passport control, and by that time our airport transfer had left :-(. The first appartment that assigned us. The heater was not working, the tv was working only with a few channels, it was missing a lot of things for 2 people, towels, wine cup, hair dryer, etc. After many calls and follow-up they gave us an other room with almost all equipments that other apartment offers. 2nd floor is kind of noise. Description for facilities in other bilding. Quite a small apartment, but definately all you need. one thing that could be helpful is something obvious on the ground floor near the entrance about the location of the reception on the 8th floor.A friend arrived very late, and in the morning when she was trying to locate us , the doorman was quite impatient and unfriendly. Of course language was a barrier, but I feel he could have handled it better. No utensils No dish cloth or detergent. Could be cleaner. no soap to wash with. no cloths for wash dishes or counters. not enough utencils. not enough cooking pans and very small and worn out. The phone rings starting at 8am every 1/2 hour thinking it is the maid wanting to get in the room but they hang up. very poor cleaning department, bugs in room and bathroom.
