The location was good, and the room, although small, was comfortable enough. It was nice to have a kitchenette and balcony.

The housekeeping was lax: we didn't have a bath mat, we almost ran out of toilet paper, and a room-service tray sat down the hall from us for about 21 hours. When I called the housekeeping number to ask for more toilet paper, I was told that their mailbox was full. My bed was quite soft and sagged in the middle like a hammock, so I'm still nursing the backache that it gave me. The lights in the room were extremely dim.

Wonderful facility right in the midst of Whistler village. Welcoming reception area with fire. Well laid out rooms comfortable beds.

Difficult to find channels on the TV, many not accessible. Otherwise no complaints.

Everything was at the highest level. Having stayed in many different hotels in Whistler, I found this one the best option for the money I spent. The staff was very friendly, the location is 10 minutes from the gondola, the room had all the necessary facilities and even more than I expected. I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights only, but if I had a chance I would definitely stay for more.

Just about everything - from the moment we arrived until we left the staff was very accommodating and super friendly. My daughters dog was with us and even she was treated with care

This is really just a personal thing - I noticed that the mattress was quite firm and not very comfortable. Just a thought but you might like to look into a foam top mattress.

The Summit is in a great location in the Upper Village, but is set behind most of the shops/bars/restaurants, so it's nice and quiet. There's a Starbucks about a 30 second walk from the lobby doors, which then leads right into the Olympic Park (cool for kids) and then right there is the Upper Village, with all the shops and bars you would want. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the ski hills/gondolas, but if you're just going up to enjoy Whistler for a few nights, this is a great location. The room was very nice, very comfortable bed, great shower, nice furnishings, and very quiet. Well thought-out design with the small kitchenette.

The only downside I found to the Summit was parking. Their underground parking is very small and very tight, and has limited parking. I had to get a special ok to park my f150 Extended Cab truck into one of the handicapped spots, because there were no other spots I could fit in. Truck/SUV Drivers beware! It also costs $20 a day, which I thought was expensive. They tell you that the Whistler Village Day Parking is about a 5 minute walk away, but it's more like 10 minutes.

Car park incredibly tight. We arrived mid afternoon and managed to get the last full size car space. I had to park inches from a pillar and then walk along the top of a three foot wall to get out, and I had to pay 20% on top of the cost of the room for the priviledge

There was nothing to dislike, everything was excellent. Especially Andrea on reception who was very efficient and went the extra mile in helping us with travel arrangements. There was always lovely coffee, juice and iced water available in reception. Wish we could have stayed longer.

It was relaxed, had all the comforts of home, very luxurious and pet friendly....Location was awesome, shops, bars, restaurants all within walking distance, and free bike hire..

I liked the location of this hotel as it was very close to many amenities such as Starbucks, IGA, Greyhound bus stop and many shops and restaurants.

I don't like the proximity of the room next to ours. People from the next room smoked and talked on the patio during the early morning hours.

I am thrilled to have stumbled upon Summit Lodge and have already recommended your hotel to a number of family and friends who are equally excited to return to Whistler. Our experience with the staff was most welcoming and hospitable - actually prompting me to save the hotel number in my cell phone for future vacations. Not only does the lodge operate as a pet friendly, but they go above and beyond expectations, treating their four legged guests with as much thought and consideration as one might the two legged (credit carrying) variety. We were thoroughly pleased with our stay and greatly look forward to future bookings with Summit Lodge.

The staff are amazing! Thanks Gio for the extra help you gave! Their love, acceptance and welcoming of my little dog Rexy, was beyond any experience in ANY hotel, ever!! and at no cost! It MADE my vacation! I was to have stayed for 4 nights. I so loved the whole experience, I stayed 7 nights and still didn't want to leave! Thanks Summit!

We liked the mountains and the Whistler,Olympic site

The parking was horrible. The stalls were so small that we hardly had room to open the doors once we got in. We have a SUV which made it very hard to park in your garage.

The staff were helpful and courteous--desk and housekeeping. Very close to the Olympic Plaza. We had a small balcony overlooking the street. We got a good price for weeknight. Friday and Saturday prices doubled. We would stay there again.

No complaints at all. The hotel showed its age in nicked woodwork. The pool was small and the patio around it not kept up in line with the rest of the hotel.

Whistler was a wonderful place to stay, and The Summit was a lovely hotel in a great location. It had a kitchenette which was great to be able to make our own food and not have to eat out all the time.
