I stayed in Suite 302, a lovely 2 bedroom suite with balcony overlooking the harbour and the beauty of Victoria. The living room, the bedrooms and the balcony all offer exquisite views of the harbour. Each bedroom had its own ensuite, with luxurious appointments.There was a full kitchen, well-stocked, several tvs, free wifi and plenty of luxurious amenities. This is one of the finest establishments I encountered in British Columbia. It is in the heart of the waterfront, central to everythin.

Internet found-All positive reviews to reassure and was very surprised to walk into out beautiful room with an amazing view of the harbour & better yet.. An excellent choice & will definitely be staying agin. Every aspect of downtown Victoria were in walking distance for us (as its a busy town with limited parking). I recommended this hotel to all my friends & family for furure stays. You won't be disapointed. We had the two room suite. Lots of room for a family. Fully functioning kitchen. Could easily have made our meals there! Family room has a great room feel. Two full baths! Comfy beds with good pillows! free parking and free breakfast were included. Really good continental breakfast, real dishes. Beautiful harbor/ city views. Felt more like a very nice apartment than a hotel! Can walk all the way to the parliament bldg. in 15 min. Too many good restaurants and shops within a short walk. It was right on the harbor waterfront. It is very attractive. We had a "regular/small" room and it was incredibly spacious. A terrific location in the old part of town near lots of shops, restaurants, Chinatown. Only a few blocks from many museums, The grand Empress Hotel, the beautiful/historic Government House. Easy access to whale watching excursions and harbor tours. I wish I had known to reserve a larger room so we could have had a waterfront view. We were upgraded to a corner suite. There were 2 couples in our party. Room was two stories, 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, 2 fireplaces, full dining/living room/kitchen, Jacuzzi spa tub and walk-in showers. Lovely, large patio balcony with great harbor view. Basically a fully- equipped condo. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good complimentary continental+ breakfast and secure underground parking. Will definitely book there again for our next visit. We booked a city view room with a balcony and at check-in they upgraded our room to a harbor view with balcony! If you book, I would definitely recommend a harbor view - great view of the mountains and so relaxing to sit on the porch and watch the boats and planes in the water. The location of this hotel is close to the ferries and walkable to everything you would want to do downtown. Rooms very clean&staff very friendly&helpful. Room was excellent,clean,large( we had king with balcony over looking road but didn't use it as was v.noisy) complimentary breakfast was excellent with brilliant views over harbour. Free daily papers,weather update and water was a nice touch.close to ALL amenities,good restaurants,bars& shops.Situated next to harbour. 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms - separated by living room - great interior design for privacy with other family members. Closest redbox, really far. Bring dvd's or downloads. No gym/pool on site. Nothing, it was perfect!!!. The only thing I would change would be to have a softer bed. Having to leave. Nothing!. No swimming pool or bar except in room bar~. There was nothing we didnt like. While the staff was friendly and helpful they didn't do much more than basic service. They didn't do much to go above and beyond. Also if you needed any food from the hotel it was very expensive which meant a trip to the grocery store for snacks, milk, etc. Not a thing. Weirdly, the TV in our bedroom would freeze up, or go off ever time we walked by it. So we just watched the water view instead. I really didn't like how the rooms could not be locked from the inside (slide lock). There was a time we were talking about going for a walk as a family and before we knew it our 2 year old was out the door and we only knew because we heard the door close. He is FAST! It would have been easier and less stressful/worrisome, if we could have locked the door and not be able to open it from the inside. The carpet had noticeable stains. The drapes were not wide enough to close completely; a valance is needed to block light-both needed for good sleep. Nothing. For convenience, we would have preferred a washing machine and dryer in the 2 bedroom suite, but the facilities on level 1 was adequate. Couple of maintenance problems that couldn't be taken care of because they went home. Couldn't reserve another night!. Not a thing,. ??? Our stay was enjoyable so I have no "didn't like comments". Nothing!. I wish they had a swimming pool. I didn't like the park we were facing. I actually was very upset to see all the drug deals and drinking go on... I would never recommend the partial harbour view to any of my family & friends. We all travel often to Victoria but will definitely not stay in that part of the hotel again. I actually almost asked to have my room changed as I had my three and twelve year old travelling with us so we couldn't use our balcony... That sucked:(. No gym or evening meals, but it wasn't a problem for a short stay. There was nothing we did not like. I payed my check in cash, on the last day, but my credit card was charged twice with the cost of the room. They apollogize for the inconvinience, but it took a few weeks before I had the money back on my credit card. Renovation noise from building beside hotel was annoying. Rooms did not have air conditioning and leaving windows open to get water breeze was not a problem if not for the constant noise from renovation. Not a single thing. Our room was facing street so a bit noisy. Breakfast was a little limited for choice and they had no English breakfast tea as were switching suppliers. They did not have a pool or jacuzzi. The carpet could stand a good cleaning. My room's central ac unit didn't work. Instead it had a portable ac unit that didn't cool so well. Difficult to locate while driving. One way streets make if difficult to find yourself in the right spot to park and register. Bathroom fan needed cleaning.
