EVERYTHING... Where do I start? Great helpful, friendly staff, beautiful and comfortable, roomy rooms, with super view of the water and pier, very nice building inside and out, nice breakfast, easy access to the downtown by bus and all shopping, nice park nearby, amazing price for so very much included!!! I would recommend this highly!!!

Not one thing bothered me... NOT ONE!! and the place before this Hotel was not suitable for us, so I'm fussy!

I like the attitude of the staff The bathroom was clean the room was clean though i found old stuff from previous occupants (e.g unclean baby bottles)

I don't like the pub at night which is too loud and it's near the rooms on 3rd floor...it's scary when the kids pass by and they could see all those drunked people.

I like that it is pet friendly. I like that it is close to the galloping goose trail.

The washers and dryers could be updated as it took a long time to wash and dry one load. Which resulted in people having to wait to use them.

The beds were nice and comfy. The rooms adequate. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Rooms were clean. Front desk called us a few minutes after we got to the room to make sure everything was okay. Pool was good for the family. Water pressure in shower was fantastic.

Very pleasant indeed, and although the room was a little dated, it was clean and comfortable and well-located on the edge of the town centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Every thing was great helpful friendly staff and a great view from our room. We would definitely stay there again next time we are on Vancouver island.

Room was excellent with a well equipped kitchenette. Location was ideal with easy and quick links to Victoria, including the free shuttle bus. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and willing to help with any problems/queries

I thought the room smelt really smoky when we opened the room so we sprayed it and turned the ac on which helped all in all a good night sleep saw the pool and gym wanted to use it in the morning but slept in till 10.30; so couldn't

I was here in Victoria 40 years ago and knew it then. It looks tired now and I guess the shingles need looking at they are in need of tlc various parts of the building have just been given a slap of paint and it shows the building on initial viewing as do I really want to stay here. But the staff are great I only say this because I lived locally for a while

The room was very clean and resently updated very nicely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cost of the room using the entertainment book link was a very good price. I also had requests for the two rooms I had booked and all of the requests were met by the staff before my arrival.

The restaurant could use an update to match the rooms.

We were at the Victoria one week. Located in a very convenient location and the center of the sights and the shops. Very friendly staff. We have managed to forget some things, and the staff was kind enough to took them to our next hotel in Vancouver. Grateful.

Good TV, with many channels, good wifi, and everithing you'll need. Breakfast, bus stop in front of, ATM machine, frige, size of the room. The staff was very pleasent.

It's not a fancy hotel, it's very simple but has what one needs. Could change carpets and furniture to have a better look, but for the price, it's a good deal.

So much! Clean well-heated pool with sauna and change room and showers, very nice fitness room with top of the line equipment, easy quick access to the Galloping Goose Trail, great balcony design that my grandkids loved walking around and playing on, great greenspace in the back, beautiful landscaping, quiet room, big screen tv set up high on a high desk, fridge and microwave, thoughtful cleaning staff, room entrance to the outside instead of to halls, really beautiful check-in foyer. there is more I am sure. Oh, easy bus access. Can't think of anything I didn't like. And great price. Thanks. loved it.

Stayed for one night with a friend and daughter. Clean rooms in quiet place. Short walk to a park just down the streetGot a free upgrade to s unit with kitchenette. Upon check-in, reception called our room to see if everything is ok and if we need anything... It's about 7-10 min to down town, but the price bits up the commute... I would recommend this hotel for a budget trip.

Two Gentlemen at check-in Fri March 29 were friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfy. Nice linens and pillows, great TV & WIFI. Had microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and even coffee! Very quiet, fantastic view, pool not too deep for kids. Will definitely stay again.

Young woman at checkout Apr 1 was anything but accommodating. Booked 2 queens, requested farthest from Pub, nearest to pool; got 2 doubles, nearest the pub and farthest from the pool. (not a big enough problem to change rooms and chance giving up that view though :-)

Very quiet room, no trafic noise atall. The room we had was on a sat. & sun. night. there ws no bar noise for us. It was a good location to reach what we required.

The young lady on the evening shift of sat. did not really no what was happening. I produced a copy of our confirmation and instead of reading it thouroghly she proceded to ask me questions which where printed. Other than that being a bit frustrating it was fine.

First was the price - I am a disabled senior who must travel frequently to Victoria to see my Doctors - I travel with my assistant, which all adds to the cost. I live on a very fixed income. Without asking, the front desk upgraded us to a kitchen unit, which was very kind and appreciated. I also enjoy receiving the morning Times Colonist. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with extra towels, if the need arises. I have only to call the front desk, for friendly service. I only wish they could have a senior/medical price, that was stable throughout the year.

The young man at the front desk this time was not very engaged or friendly. Very unusual because we have had excellent service at the front desk previously. We have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past year and this was unusually bad service.
