I arrived early in the day and was given an upgrade as my room was not ready yet. Everything was done to accommodate my daughter and I for an early check in. Very impressed with the staff and the room. Will certainly stay there again. I had asked for a quiet room and that request was granted. Very quiet and spacious, comfortable room. The muffins were excellent, plus juice and coffee was a great continental breakfast included in the room price.
all reviews » I liked the beds were comfortable especially the Loft suite. The kids liked the pool and hot tub. The location was perfect for going on day trips. Nice and friendly atmosphere. Staff was extremely accommodating to conference needs, very friendly and helpful. The location and facility were both very suitable for meeting the needs of attendees. Have stayed here previously and they have a high standard. Have another reservation Dec. 26 & 27th booked through you. The size of the room, comfort of the beds, refridgerator and table with chairs so we could play bridge with our friends. That restaurant staff was willing and able to pack up our continental breakfasts for the road, much appreciated. *Cleanliness was paramount. *We enjoyed the continental breakfast. *The check-in clerk was excellent. It was a bizzare room layout. The bed and linens were lousy.The only reason I stayed there was I was meeting a lady friend for dinner at the Bourbon St. resturante attached to the hotel. I didnt want to drink and drive. The food and service at the resturant was very good. We stayed in the prince suite and we loved the jacuzzi and the day spa. The staff were quick when we needed their assistance with the issues with our room. Complimentary coffee and scones. Very friendly staff. Beds were comfortable. Pleasant & friendly staff. room was large, nice layout. Liked the workout facility. Nothing about the hotel, but the restaurant was great. Bathroom was large but the shower did not have much pressure, and there was no grab bars and very little space to put shampoo, razor etc in the shower. The sink in the kitchenette was too small to do the dishes. The faucet did not reach far enough into the sink. I had booked my room for the conference not realizing it was through letsbookhotel.com, and forgot to ask for the conference rate. When I emailed later to ask for the preferred rate, the hotel was unable to provide it. Had to call twice for noise complaints. Noise was dealt with, however I was told on the first complaint that if it continued, I could move to another room. Not feasible with a young sleeping child, the people making the noise should have been the ones who would've had to move to a different room. Hot tub was extremely hot, too hot for young children. Pool was much too cold, and was out of order the next morning and being drained. Sunday buffet price was much too expensive for breakfast. *The on-line price wasn't reflected in my statement when I checked in but was immediately rectified. * You can't head south when you exit the hotel. Minor but still a fact. cajun gumbo at dinner lacked flavour, high ceiling in bed room was full of cobwebs, bathroom door and vanity needs fresh paint. N/A. Could have used more coffee. Nothing, as expected. Facility is starting to show it's age. Bathroom was not so clean, coffee pot not clean We are both diabetics were informed breakfast was included That was not true, Really do not like dishonesty, we at least expected a continental breakfast instead chocolate chip muffin and coffee. Room overlooked train on tracks. The patch work on the walls in some spots in the room was very poorly done but the decor is so nice. This shows a lack of caring or degrades the rating in some way. One cover on the bed was not clean. Coffee from a thermos and a stale muffin definitely does NOT qualify as an industry standard 'breakfast included' Very disappointed!. See above. Complimentary breakfast is misleading..a muffin and coffee is not really 'continental' in my books. Our room flooded through the wall due to the rain. We were missing our tv remote which we had to ask for. Our room seemed to be infested with flying ants - I must have killed at least 4 per day. The shower corners were mouldy. The wallpaper was peeling and there was dirt and a tampon under the sink. There was a police incident at the hotel and I had to move my room due to pepper spray in my hallway. The room I was given was not as good as the room I had to vacate and no compensation was offered except to refund a portion of my stay and relocate to another hotel. No tv channel lineup was on the tv, so I could not plan my tv viewing schedule. were beside the laundry room, so we heard the washer going into the spin cycle late at night and early morning. My room was not up to par. I have stayed at the Prestige anew weeks back and my room was like day and night. The room was not clean, the fridge was disgusting not to mention the bed, we both woke up with sore backs, way too soft. 1. Our reservation booked through letsbookhotel.com was not on record with them. 2. DID NOT CARE FOR OUR ROOM. 3. PRICE WAS NOT REFLECTED IN ROOM. 4. BED LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN SLEPT IN. PILLOW SLIPS WERE ALL WRINKLED, ETC. 5. WE MADE THE RESERVATION FOR ONE SET OF FRIENDS AND ENCOURAGED OTHERS TO STAY THERE AND THEY ALSO WERE NOT ALL THAT HAPPY...... IN FACT ONE COUPLE GOT A CREDIT FOR THEIR ROOM BECAUSE THE BEDDING WAS NOT CLEAN. Beds, noise, value, general poor condition of the hotel. The bed was soft, old and needs to be replaced. The hotel is run down. Had a funky smell. The shower pressure was awful. Blood on our sheets. Wall paper falling off the walls. The walls were dirty. For 10$ more we could of stayed at a way Better hotel. Super let down.
