This place is an absolute gem! I booked it for visiting family and their HUGE 2 bedroom suite was spotlessly clean, very stylish, well appointed and cozy comfortable...especially the beds! The location is perfect. Nestled in a very quiet residential neighbourhood, it's a 5 minute walk to the beaches at English Bay or to a wide variety of restaurants and shops on Denman street. It's also a 5 minute walk to Coal Harbour, overlooking the North Shore mountains and just 1/2 a block to beautiful Sta.
all reviews » Proximity to Stanley Park as well as downtown was ideal. Since we didn't have a car, we walked everywhere. Safeway is just a few blocks away making it easy to walk to our place with groceries. It's a beautiful, safe neighborhood as well. Also, we had an simple maintenance issue and once reported, the staff had it fixed in just a few minutes. Friendly, helpful staff. I would absolutely stay here again. The Rosellen Suites were in a perfect location, only metres away from Stanley Park and English Bay and a pleasant walk to the City centre, but wonderfully quiet, everything about the apartment was great, spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were extremely helpful and could not do enough for you regarding information or making you stay perfect. We look forward to returning soon. Fantastic location, right next to Stanley Park which was really great but also not far to walk into the centre of the city and do some shopping. Really friendly and helpful staff members, and the housekeeping staff were great and did a top job :). The suite we stayed in was really nice, it was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make it feel like a home away from home. The incredible friendly reception staff nothing was too much bother- I had better service here than at the 5 star- location was good, able to relax in the apartment style of accommodation and cook evening meals, would recommend this to any traveller. I came from Australia and found this a good stop for 4 nights, nice leafy & safe suburb. The spaciousness of the suites and all of the kitchen essentials. Its also wonderfully quiet compared to many places to stay in this area. Stanley Park trails are right at the back of the building and restaurants are a stroll away through a quiet residential neighbourhood. the staff were so gracious, like a classy European hotel. Personal service without the "big hotel" pressure and "nickel and diming" charges. Nice to have internet connection readily available with extra charges. The staff was great, especially Kent at the front desk. The suite was spacious and comfortable, with lots of closet space. There were easily accessible stairs. There's a garage right under the hotel, and it's very reasonable. The kitchen was very well equipped, and there was a full-size refrigerator. We had a wonderful stay. It is so hard to find a reasonably priced room that will take more than 4 people and there was 5 of us. We had a bit of a walk from the Conference Centre but the weather cooperated. We did have to take a cab a couple of times but it was a mere $10 each way. Location is excellent for Stanley Park, places to eat, access to public transport. The accomodation is spacious and having a separate dining room was great for eating. The staff were knowledgable and were always willing to explain how to get to places etc. I would stay here again. Full service apartment with television in every room, very clean, spacious for couples or family. Staff is friendly. The covered garage is included in the price what is very mportant in Vancauver. Next to Stanley Park and the English Bay in a quiet residential area. Rosellen Suites has a lovely 50th homey feel – completely functional and clean one bedroom apartment. We have loved the location, next to the Park and downtown, and the beachside; a very secure and quiet neighborhood, the warm welcome of the staff, and the nice gesture of the manager for an upgrade which made a real difference in comfort. All was perfect. Very close to all amenities only 10 minutes away from shops and with in walking distant to the beach.Parking just behind apartments.Stanton Park 2 minutes walk away. We arrived early and our room was ready. The apartment was in a very quiet and pretty location, near Stanley Park, English Bay and restaurants. A lovely part of Vancouver. We loved the huge suite and did not feel crowded in the least........it was a nice place.....not new, not old but in between. The suite was clean and well prepared for us. My husband, our 38 year old son and 2 8 year old grandkids stayed for the weekend. It was a perfect set up for a family traveling together. Probably the banging of other apartments in the area putting out their skip bins/rubbish at 1- 2.30 in the morning. Found it incredible noisy in this regard. Not sure what building codes in Vancouver comply with but not the Rosellan suites fault. Parking on a back lane was a bit worrisome. Small details of wear and tear of an older building, antiquated elevator, yet only used it once. Carpeted stairs can be a minor trip hazard for someone with big feet like me. The garage is tiny, and only really suitable for small cars. No views, and if your room faces the alley as mine did (408), it can be noisy. No A/C. Old-style non-HD TVs. Our room looked out onto the car park or the carpark looked into our room so we had to keep blinds closed for privacy... Parking (additional charge) is tricky for larger vehicles. Furnishing/fixtures are of basic home quality but bed was excellent. Infrastructure is however of the 50th in all respects. Really cannot find negative points, may be some additional kitchen tools would have been needed, and kitchen needed some renovation. Nothing. Sink in kitchen was backing up and needed attention. Our suite (105) got very little daylight, but all else good. Nothing! Superb accomodations And staff. Parking is tight for those with cars-need to book ahead. The hotel itself was very quiet but I found he outside noises louder than I would like - like early lawn mowing. Etc. but other than that it was great. Some windows didn't close tight and were a bit drafty.We enjoyed the old fashion lift, but it was small. The price for one night was high compared to other places I have stayed in previously with my friends. However, I will go back because I felt safe and the staff were very good. There is always room to improve the quality of the mattresses. The beds were comfortable enough but I like a bit of cushion on top. kitchen needs to be stocked with a few more essential items; Large frying pan, cheese grater, spatula, ice, medium saucepan for sauce, local roasted coffee, pay per view movies. The bathtub was a bit un-sturdy to shower in the main bathroom. The comforter in the main bedroom needs to be changed. I liked it all. We didn't think about asking whether the unit was air conditioned as it has been so long since we stayed anywhere that didn't have it. They provided a small fan, but the room was too warm and stuffy with outside temperatures in the mid 70's. Decoration a bit worned out. Hole in couch. No parking space. Parking was a little tight in the alley and hauling / carrying luggage down the parkade drive and then up the stairs to the front door was a bit of a struggle. Nothing. There was no safe. No complaints. Price is not competitive with a number of the hotel suites closer to downtown. No shuttle and apartments aging. nothing. The only thing we find difficult is the absence of duty front desk in the evening especially we came late in the evening. Not super new property but fine for a quick overnight or a few days $15 parking charge. Summertime you might be a little warm as there is no air conditioning. Paying for parking!. The property is a little dated but is clean and presentable.
