The staff was very friendly and helpful even during the time that there was a fire at the motel while we were staying there, they got our stuff out with minimal damage, washed all of our stuff, and even welcomed us into their home as well as putting us up, free of charge at a nearby motel, they were wonderful!!!. Number one budget friendly. Bonus: large window with view, clean bathroom, eating room and table, view, warm heating, good small fridge, coffee pot, tea pot all worked well. Two fair beds that worked well Fishing and have family members living in town only needed a room.

We were very comfy for our one night stay and would definitely return. We had a corner two bedroom which was very spacious. Beds were very comfortable. They have a nice picnic area outside on the lower level, though we were on the second floor so it would be better to have a balcony. The size of the room for the cost was excellent. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean and friendly. I have already told our friends were we stayed and said it would be a good alternative to staying in Tofino. Beautiful location in a quiet Ucluelet. Perfect for a whale & wildlife watching, stroll by the ocean in a Pacific Rim National Park. Peaceful and laid back. Highly recommended. location,price, and large room excellent wi fi, most of the time. nice round table with chairs a microwave would have been nice, but not necessary.comfortable all around. The room was particularly spacious with a lovely huge picture window that looked towards the sound. Cleanliness was optimum. Verandah seating was also appreciated. Modest accommodation but appropriate for the location. staff was friendly, rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. upgraded to a suite following the closure of a block from fire. It was very quiet, clean and roomy. Nice towels and bedding. Clean and quiet. Good value. Very helpful. easy to find, close to other things. Girl at front desk was knowledgeable about the town and surrounding area. old carpet and bedding. walls thin and noise filtered up. Earplugs were necessary. no dogs allowed. Kitchen could be better stocked for cooking. Would be nice if they had a deck or balcony so you could enjoy the view outside. The pots in the room all had loose handles. Not safe because the you never know if the pots will break. I am not sure if microwaves are standard anymore in hotels but that would have made the trip perfect. Lack of breakfast option. mattress needs replacing. not enough outlets for electronics. Lack of microwave. Walls are rather thin and so if you are not an early riser, the guys in the next room getting up at the crack of dawn to go fishing could be irritating!. Kitchen sink needs new washers for water taps. Dining room chairs excellent but should have one leisure chair for casual seating. Parking on lower level was very difficult to exit (had to back out and up hill). Tub surround needs replacing but I let them know. Bit of noise coming through the floor from the room above early in the morning. The sink was not in the bathroom. I prefer to use the sink in private.
