I thoroughly enjoyed my recent 2 night stay at this downtown Hilton property. Having read some other reviews, I made sure to request a room that had been renovated (I was told upon making my request at check-in that I had already been assigned to one.) The two members of the staff with whom I interacted at the front desk were friendly and accommodating. All areas of the building that I ventured to were clean and well-appointed. The Toronto Hilton was perfectly situated downtown to allow for exploration by foot without having to summon a taxi. If you enjoy views like I do, get a room as high as you possibly can - you won't regret it! My room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. I was worried initially about the quality of the wireless internet with such a large building, but it was for no reason. I had excellent signal strength and no problems whatsoever. We booked the hotel for the weekend because our house is up for sale. As such we approached this like it was a 'Stay-cation'. The location is fabulous and close to all amenities - Eaton Centre, City Hall, Yonge Street, Restaurants, Queen St., Subway etc... The view from the room was great. We were on the 29th floor and faced north - stunning at night with the lights. Room was a good size, very clean, and nicely decorated. We liked the decor and modern bathroom.
