  The fantastic beach location and all the rooms face onto the beach and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The connection to the first nations community. The beds were very comfortable. Did not eat there so cannot comment on the food service - we were just out too much to be there for meals. Would like to receive any promotional rates email... what people say » s as I would like to stay again if I could afford it. - The history of the Tin-wis was very interesting - it was the site of a residential school in the past and the First Nation people have done an amazing job of turning this place into a beautiful resort area for many to enjoy! the staff was very friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed the Bistro on site. The food was excellent!

  After booking and receiving confirmation, we finally arrived in the evening hours of July 31, 2013. Initially, we were made aware, that the hotel was fully booked out, but the friendly hotel staff was searching for an alternative for one night. This alternative turned out to be an extraordinary experience in one of the Middle Beach Lodges. For the remainder of our stay, the extremely friendly mana - The hotel is well located, close to Tofino, but on the park side of it. A handy feature is that the hotel includes boat tours at a discount for whale-watching and to the hot springs, which was advantageously priced for customers. The room itself was more than a room, but really a suite, equipped with a king-sized bed. There was a stove, and a fridge, and a little porch where one could eat.   Located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, this Lodge is beautifully appointed. One feels both close to nature, while also having luxurious accommodations. The freshly baked cookies, the coffee/tea, the fruit readily available gave the lodge feel very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean, I - The location is superb - looking out onto the ocean - and the lodge has its own private beach. Relaxing in the large, supremely comfortable lounge looking out on the beautiful scene ( as the rain poured down!) with endless supplies of coffee or tea was a real treat and a memorable one. Freshly baked cookies in the evening were a nice touch too. The breakfasts were very good and free wi- fi was welcome.
