Cozy, comfortable, charming, convenient, clean choice for overnight stay on road to Prince Rupert. Excellent breakfast with fresh ingredients from local farms. Staff is helpful and genuinely concerned for comfort of guests. The Inn felt more like a down-home B&B than a motel. Highly recommend!. The staff were so wonderful and nice. The mattress and bedding were extremely comfortable, much more so than most hotels. Breakfast was also fantastic. Eggs made to order, fruit, sausage, etc. They also were very accommodating when I was unable to check in by midnight.
all reviews » Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Our room was on the second floor with no elevators and stairs present a problem for me. They moved us right away to the last ground floor. Room was comfy and included a full hot breakfast, which was yummy. We had a good welcome from the owner who gave us a lot of helpful information about the area. The town is really nice with lots of quaint shops but unfortunately we were there on Sunday so were all closed.Very good breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable, everything was as described. Location was convenient with many restaurants and stores were within walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations for the area. I got the last room of the night, from letsbookhotel.com. The inn is pleasant to look at, very clean and friendly staff. They explained their way of doing things and their morning hot breakfast was good. This small hotel provided a very friendly atmosphere. It was pristinely kept, walking distance to main street shops and staff provided great info. for hiking. Nice hot breakfast with eggs made to order. Great location just off the highway. Close to shops, restaurants ,info centre etc. Full breakfast with eggs cooked to order. The room was simple but clean with good TV,fridge and a firm bed. really a great and friendly reception who also told a lot about the area , what to see and do . Really helpfull. And the breakfast was great . Nice and friendly staff. Good value for money. Glad to stop in Smithers. Stork Nest had great breakfast, quiet room, nearby aquatics center, and walking distance to some nice restaurants. Beautiful view too. Location and great well trained staff always willing to help. Very clean premises and good breakfast provided early for us fishermen every day. It is a cute place. I like the decor. Felt like we were in a Bed and Breakfast. The breakfast was nice too. Ambiance familiale. quite nice room. The details of the Inn should specify 2 floors, no elevator, so when booking if someone has mobility issues they can request ground floor at time of booking. I was fortunate that the front desk staff was so awesome. Very disappointed with the room which was very basic and needed decorating badly. No coffee maker,but could make yourself coffee in lobby, no hairdryer either. Most of restaurants were closed on Sunday as well!. no hot tub but did have a Jacuzzi tub in our room. Not fancy but good value for the money. Nothing. No problems at all. No coffee making facilities in rooms. The room needs just a bit of updating. It smelled like it had recently been painted. It had a nice desk for the computer, but could use a few more plug ins for re-charging devices. The bathroom needs an area to place items that you would use there. The door to the room stuck and squeaked loudly when opening and shutting. The hallway was very narrow but there's not much that can be done about that. the air con in our room noisy. No access to fridge or freezer which is essential when travelling on a budget. Nothing of note!. no hairdryer. The fact that none of the electronics worked and the lady insisted we pay cash, plus we had to ask for hair dryers and towels. The room was a little on the small side. noisy air conditioner. It was dated. Mattress was bad.
