The staff is very friendly and helpful. The clerks at the front desk were good. When I checked in, I asked to keep one large luggage at the storage because I did not need it. On the next morning, the luggage handling person brought it to the shuttle bus and drove me to the airport. He was so helpful to get a cart at the airport. I like this hotel because the room is really clean and bed sheets etc are clean.'.
all reviews » The hotel location is perfect for folks coming in for Credit Union Centre events. The overall layout/design is quite nice, love the stonework and courtyard. It was a beautiful environment, peaceful and relaxing. The dining area was elegant and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. I thought the rooms were clean and comfortable. The lobby/restaurant/lounge area was very relaxing and the hotel made me feel welcome. Staff were very nice and very helpful. After realizing the first room was really not worthy of rental, they moved us to another room. The location was great ... Quick to the airport ... The hotel although older is clean and friendly!!! I'd book it again!!!!. Everyone was so willing to help and please us. When we needed to change rooms very accommodating. I like the distance from the airport. I like the size of the parking lot, it is truck friendly. quiet and peacefulness. we were able to relax after a lo9nt trip and @ long days of meetings. friendly staff comfortable beds and pillows restaurant food quiet despite being near airport. I thought that I asked a non-smoking room, but the room has a tiny residual smell of cigarette. The gym is well designed considering the very small space. But it is far small. When one person is using the weight machine, we cannot even get access to the water fountain. I guess that not many are using it. The breakfast is OK, but I think that the buffet is slightly overpriced considering the available foods. The hotel did not staff for being sold out. Prior to the event we went for appy's and supper in the lounge. Appy's we just ok, the meal was awful, bison skewers were cold, two "cashew rice bowls" at our table - two completely different contents in each; one good the other didn't have the chicken or the cashews. I understand when you're busy mistakes happen - but to serve the same dish two ways at the same table was not acceptable and showed a lack of care and attention. Didn't like the pool location right out in the public area. The comforter on the bed was so heavy we had to take it off to sleep and there was no light blanket on the bed. The first room I was given, was very poorly maintained. Stained carpet and desk top had different color paint stains, and furniture was somewhat old and damaged. I was actually disgusted and was ready to change our plans. I believe I should not have been charged the full rate, even though our rooms had been changed. The restaurant was too expensive. It wasn't affordable for eating at the hotel so we ended up going to drive to other places. Some of the rooms I have stayed in have poor quality beds. The king room on my last visit was very good. could have a cleaner bathroom. at night in the rain, a little hard to see the sign to turn into the parking lot from the airport. The food was horrible - I ate in the restaurant the first night and the burger was dry and the bun doughy. I ordered room service the second night and the lobster salad was hard to eat - I realize Saskatoon is not a place for seafood, but I could still see the marks from the can on the lobster. No dressing and dry. The dark and white chocolate pate was good. You need to revamp your food menu!. No fridge or microwave. I felt that it needed a more varied menu. The menu was quite limited. I also felt that the restaurant was short-staffed. Why was the small fridge in our room just sitting on the floor like it didn't belong?/ It worked fine but seemed very out of place. Nothing to say here. As everything was good !. The workout center is very small and stuffy , the fan was broken and the TV set on a couple of units did not work. Service in the resteraunt was very slow on March 3rd. Telemiracle was on and not enough staff to keep up. Two hours to get a burger. N/A. Room was small and price was too high. The faciltiy is starting to show it wear and tear. Guest bathrooms need updating. up keep of the rooms a lot of mold around the sink and tub no extra blankets or pillows small closet. shower could use some more pressure. no fridge,no microwave. Although reasonably clean, the bathroom needs complete refitting. Appears as though the tub has experienced a "bathfitter" treatment and the linoleum was very old and tired (probably original) from early 80's. All the nooks and crannies in the bathroom are a little grungy so that indicates it's time for a facelift. The room is also dated but adequate. The room could have been cleaner and it is time for renos to upgrade the room. To pricey!. Dated decor. Bed was uncomfortable and toilet ran all night. Airport nearby, and my brother said the shower heads were too high pressure cause of his irregular skin but it didn't bother me none. Food was expensive for what you got. Sunday brunch was ridiculous. I requested no feather pillows and when we got there the room had feather pillows and they would not replace them so we had to sleep with no pillows because of alergies. what was stated on my invoice was not the price on my credit card. Bathroom light would not shut off - told to close the door. Duct tape on carpet everywhere. Dirty carpets. Restaraunt not open to get a simple coffee. Beer on tap crazy expensive. We stayed there 25 yrs ago on our wedding night and for our anniversary... Sadly there has not been any modernizing other than paint on furniture. The Lino in the bathroom and tub surround looked original- that's not a good thing. Carpeting looks run down and dirty. Need to vacuum on a daily basis.
