  I was worried by some of the recent reviews, but my room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is typical for a hotel continental breakfast.   I enjoyed use of the hot tub, though the hot tub could have been on a warmer temperature. Interestingly, maybe you folks up in Quebec can handle cold better than heat, I just left it at that. - The staff was very friendly, and the English speaking staff were eager to help the French speaking staff while communicating with us.

  I stayed at this hotel for one night because I was leaving for Cuba that week. The hotel is offering the round-trip to the airport (Only 5 minutes from the hotel) and they can guard the car for the week too (They are keeping our keys at the desk for safety).   It is a nice place to be, and the hotel is not far from the city. We always drove and parked in the city and walked all the streets. - the car was right outside our door the staff helped so quickly with problems with our email. Over-all friendly. Lovely breakfast!

  Fresh , clean surroundings, outstanding staff, friendly , very helpful, always smiling, very welcoming, I come here every year now and love it, bravo to the new renovations. convenient location to food, sports, touring .. tried at the Hotel times once and will never return .. unfriendly staff, rude and I have never had that experience at Le Cofort... what people say » el - keep up the good work, I hope to be back again in a month - The room was extremely clean. I did not feel afraid to walk around barefoot in the room (being new helped). We had a power failure that lasted over 2 hours. It would have been nice to have emergency safety lights in the rooms. The breakfast had much to be desired. An addition of at least cerial would have been nice. Fix those issues and the hotel would have been the best in every respect.

  Au bord du fleuve must be the best B&B in Canada. The hospitality of our host Michel was absolutely one of a kind. Michel made us feel like home from minute one, being warm and friendly and providing us lots of tips and information about Quebec City. What a wonderfull man he is. Michel served us an excellent breakfast at his beautiful terrace ... what people say » looking out over the river. What a view we had from our fantastic room. Bathroom and bed were also great.. We will never forget our stay in Au bord - Michel is an outstanding host, so eager to please. He is a great tourist guide passionate about his home and his city. He even made a booking for us to have lunch in the Parliament House dining room. His breakfasts were great and he sat down with us to talk about our day. French is his first language but he converses well in English. He also has a beautiful singing voice and serenaded us after dinner one night.
