The price and location were excellent for our needs. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water and water pressure. We could control our own heat and the room was quiet at night even with the bathroom window open. There was a hot tub on site but we didn't use it. This is definitely a budget hotel so those who are fussy about peeling paint or scuff marks on walls and doors and bad artwork on walls should avoid this motel. I loved the pink bathtub. We had a glorious mount.
all reviews » Perfect for our needs - Mother with 2 small children & Grandparents. Comfortable beds and pillows. Well-equipped kitchen. Perfect for a one-night stop on the way through. The front desk guy was super nice! Our toilet got plugged, he came over happy, unplugged it with smile and still offered us a different room if we wanted. He was excellent!. It was good value for the dollar and made a great home-base for our trip. We had a suite that allowed us to function in a practical and economical state. We had been held up in the backlog of a big accident, we booked in, the Owners/Managers were really helpful, the location was good, price was fair. I only stopped for the night and they were available. I didn't do any research into the facility,so I am unable to give a very extensive review. very attentive staff, good location with no noise, excellent base for trips, v fast internet, do not expect more than you pay for though. So many beds and clean mattresses. Lots of room. Air conditioner worked really well and was appreciated. Surprise breakfast and friendly staff and patrons. Just the right type of breakfast for travelling. Large room Clean and comfortable No train noise like other hotels in area. This was a last minute booking, literally 10 minutes before we arrived at the accommodation. It was reasonably comfortable, very basic but enough space for two adults and a young child. The staff were ok. Nice classic 60's style motor inn. Away from noise of main drag, but within easy distance of downtown. It did not have the usual pictures and headboards ect. Staff was friendly and the accommodations were clean. view and location. clean and quiet rooms. Value for money. quiet. This room smelled so strong of smoke I was in able to sleep and it was a non smoking room. We would never stay there again. staff was accommodating suite decor was nice they were generous with the ice. The price until we saw what we paid for!. Big room and full kitchen. Good price, clean enough. mainstreet restaurant. Nothing much. Coke machine. Nothing except that the 2 bedroom is very large and can accommodate a large group with dogs. The bathroom could have used a fan but the window worked fine. Our room had a tiny kitchenette that we didn't use but I'm glad we didn't pay extra for it because it was really small and would have been challenging to cook anything in that space. Bathroom could use some work - bathtub needs to be recaulked so shower doesn't flood the bathroom. We learned to stuff a facecloth at the edge of the tub to prevent flooding. The room was on the second floor. There was no plug-in in the bathroom. the kitchen light didn't work properly. nothing really. The walls were very thin and we could hear our neighbours conversations and snoring all night long. Gum in the cupboards. Could have been a little cleaner. Mattresses were very hard. Parking too far away from our suite. This is a motel - don't be fooled by the name. Styrofoam cups with coffee maker - bought my own china cup. The place itself looks a bit run-down. Nothing. Smokers outside rooms allowed smoke to percolate around the accommodation. More selection of breakfast foods. Poor internet connection in our room (room #24). If that's not strengthened, we won't be back. The beds were in very very bad shape. Hard and very uncomfortable. The open situation of the accommodation, and the lack of security within the car park and the building. Like the others said, really hard beds!. No chair to sit on.No entrance mat to clean shoes on. Bed was hard as a rock. Would not stay there again because of the bed. breakfast too expensive. Breackfast good be better quality. old pizza box left in room from last person.. It was stood against wall, so likely maid had cleaned room, and forgot to take it. Rest of room was ok. The beds are very hard and the rooms are noisy. Walls need a fresh coat of paint. This is a case of "You get what you pay for" as the room rate was reasonable. This room smelled so strong of smoke I was in able to sleep and it was a non smoking room. We would never stay there again. Insistence on advance payment?? mattresses were very, very hard. No box spring. When I mentioned this to the owner she said they were new and that people like them that way. A/C barely adequate and front window didn't open. Had to ask for bar soap. Several TV channels were fuzzy They were inquiring if we would check out early as we checked in. The room was clean but was musty, had a terrible smell and the bath took an hour to drain after a shower. The linen was clean but old and tatty. Uncomfortable beds and poor air conditioning. Dated, our unit had a musty smell that seemed to clear out after opening the window for a bit. Pink tub older tiles but fine place to crash for a night. horrible beds.No heat in bathroom, useless internet. Room kind of SPOOKY!!. Bed was hard, not close enough for restaurants within reasonable walking distance. Coffee pot was dirty and had very old grounds Room was smelly. Booked ground floor pet friendly room. Was given 2nd floor room. Refused it and was given ground floor on condition I would only use 1 bed! Room smell Would not recommend this motel.ed awful. Was told it was due to pets and fragrant spray. Have stayed in pet friendly rooms last 8 nights. None of them smelled. Advertised hot tub. It was closed and empty. Paid almost $200 for the worst room I have ever stayed in. Old, dirty, couldn't access wifi except from parking lot. Towels threadbare, sheets & blankets old, bedspread afraid to even touch. Suggest you remove from letsbookhotel.com unless their rates are a quarter of what they are currently charging. Only suitable for backpackers. Feel bad writing so negatively but the price charged was ridiculously high for what you get. Not clean, lots of hairs on the bed and in the bathroom. Generally smelt damp.
