  Wow what a fabulous place. I couldn't believe how big our suite was, more like an apartment.We had a full kitchen as well. The seating area was really comfortable and we had views over the harbour. There was also a hot tub on the balcony which was great just right for watching the sunset. Near to whale watching companies as well. - The Himwitsa Lodge is a beautiful place to stay. The room was first class. It was very clean and comfortable with lovely decor and furniture and outstanding views across the Pacific ocean. The staff and proprietors were lovely, kind and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend Himwitsa Lodge. Tofino is a lovely unspoilt place and we hope it remains so. Being from England, we didn't even mind the heavy rain.

  The staff were so helpful and friendly!! I've never had service that exceptional. I had looked at the pictures online but in person I was still pleasantly surprised by just how nice the hotel was. Not just our rooms but the front, the lobby, hallways...everything was updated and beautiful. The towels were so fluffy! The food was good and the bar staff were great and even made me a hot citrus drink at no charge when I exclaimed that I was unwell and unable to have an alcoholic beverage. The location was very centralised to all that we needed to do in Victoria. The check in staff member let us unload our vehicle out the front of the hotel and park there until we were settled and happy with our room. Parking was a bloc away from

  The room in which we stayed was large with a generous terrace and a beautiful vantage point over the harbour. The French doors allowed us to fully enjoy the view and provided easy access to the outside. The staff were very friendly and informative.   I liked the layout of the room. The room was clean. I liked the bed. It was just right - not too firm, not too soft. I liked that there wasn't an old bedspread on top. I liked the continental breakfast downstairs. I liked how clean the area was and the simple choices. The coffee was really good. The only front staff that was working at that time was extremely friendly and helpful. The 5:30 AM continental breakfast and courtesy shuttle to the airport were much appreciated.

  This was an older hotel but it was clean, well maintained, and had a charm about it. The location was wonderful.....could walk any where. The staff was wonderful. Heart describes them best. They were there for us instantly and continued to inquire if there was anything they could do further. They were warm and it was real. W - The view was spectacular from our room, overlooking the bay. The location is unbeatable in my opinion, right in the little town of Tofino, close to the water. Grocery store, bakery, gallery, wharf, nice restaurant, all within a block. A Saturday public market two blocks away. Amazing. There is a lounge area for preparing food which allows guests to interact if desired and feel connected to the others in the hotel. Location is unbeatable for what we wanted!

  Best accommodation on our holiday. Very good size very comfortable room. The owner, Wayne, was very friendly and cooked an excellent breakfast. He went out of his way to phone people up to find out about some of the things we wanted to do. As we arrived in town we reached the river and turned onto the road with the guesthouse on it.   We liked the freedom of self- catering & the space in the 1 bedroom chalet we had booked. It was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. The surroundings were very pleasant & relaxing - well kept grounds & a lovely view too. All credit must go to Anna- Marie who manages the site & is very keen that you are happy & have every... what people say » thing you need. She cleaned the rooms every day, replenished supplies & even baked a delicious blackberry pie for us! - Although you have to travel about 3 km down a dusty gravel road to get there, it is worth it. Cedar Park Resort has manicured grounds and friendly staff/owners. Our accommodation was a 2 bedroom duplex cabin which was very clean and it had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. Playing cards were even provided. The atmosphere was casual and relaxing. I would stay again and I recommend the resort.

The grounds and view of the ocean from our balcony was incredible. The location was ideal. It is close to many eating places,recreation and shopping in Qualicum.
