  Clean,spacious,easy access,fridge,staff very helpful ,especially front desk person Dominque. she was extremely helpful with directions and suggestions. We were there for canada games so wouldn`t have gone to sherbrooke if not for them ,but over all better then we expected . - Clean, comfortable, quiet and afforable.   whoever makes the beds needs a raise because I've stayed at alot of hotels and have rarely seen that much work and detail given to making a bed - which really is the heart of a room - Nice place to stay. Clean. Breakfast selection was awesome. Food was great Would stay again

  We stayed there because we have a child with a food allergy and I needed to be able to prepare meals. I was very impressed with the items provided in the kitchen: plates, bowls, silverware, serving bowls with lids, minimal cutlery, glasses, wine glasses, skillet, sauce pan, bigger pan, dish cloth and towel. The staff was extreme - To be honest, we didn't check in until later in the evening, so we didn't get a chance to use any of the facilities. But the staff were super courteous and very accomidating. Our room was very comfortable. We were a family of three senior sisters and our very elderly dad (90 yrs). Dad was very impressed with the fact that he had his own bedroom and bath!! It really was lovely. Thank you so much.

  Having stayed at the Southway a half dozen times in the last ten years, this visit was the best by far--perhaps it has something to do with the change of ownership?? The reception staff were excellent: getting me a coffee while I waited to check-in (the system was down) and then giving me 10% discount vouchers. Ditto for the room; no chipped - I liked the clean homey atmosphere of the hotel and also the fact that it is only a 5 min drive to the Casino and race track. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the Shallows restaurant --- got an upgrade during the current renovations and appreciated that very much.
